I recognise the series I, but what is the tow vehicle?
Glad you got away, sounds like a great trip around the country. I've been away from home too, but for work and cleaning up details, as well as dealing with family stuff, not for fun.
So very true, wish others could see it that way, instead of continually talking about others, or worse yet, meddling in affairs that are of no concern to them.
No, it has nothing to do with it, nor is it Obama's fault. It's just another hate filled rant by another hate filled right wing christian. Look at his post history, most of it is rants full of hate.
Yes, I've met quite a few people from the site over the years, and all lovely real people too. I've also talked to quite a number on Skype as well, and most were decent, although a few turned out to be rather nasty.
After nearly 9 years on here, I can tell you the vast majority are here to do nothing more than waste time, your's and their's. Many don't have any intention of ever meeting anyone, and they'll come up with any number of excuses as to why they can't/won't.
It's just the nature of the internet, it attracts all sorts, and many don't see this as real, just a virtual candy store. I think they've forgotten that there are real people behind those profiles, or maybe they never realised that, or perhaps some never really cared in the first place.
Just be forewarned, some will gossip about you, whether there's any truth to it or not. Just like a small town, they'll make it up if they have to, and come to a consensus, and spread it around. There are also those that will stab you in the back, when you thought they were your friend.
You're only the second person in recent memory that has posted anything from Iran, and I'm glad you did. It's an eye opener to others that have no clue about other countries, let alone what goes on in them. It's great to hear from people who actually live in these countries that are in the "news", so that there is a different perspective and a voice from place that is being discussed.
Another thing that most people don't know is that Iran was a democracy, until the American's got involved, and had Mohammad Mosaddegh killed to further their gains. The Brit's were involved as well, so there's plenty of blame to go around, yet nobody seems to remember, or ever bring it up.
I really wish people would read history, and make an honest effort to learn the facts, before spouting off any particular political party's interpretation of reality.
Oh, I thought you'd abandoned the thread. Good to see you come back.
People always have options, even if they deny them, or are afraid to express them. It's the berating of those that do express their opinions that bothers me. Calling people users, losers, pathetic, isn't the way to promote open and healthy discourse.
After reading what people say on the forums and what they say in PM, I can only come to the conclusion that many are afraid to speak their minds in public.
I don't know when the topic changed to jumping on anything that moves, but whatever floats someone's boat.
That's what the men that came up with the 10 commandments were doing, changing things to suit themselves. Also, there were laws before your god was invented, as well as morality, but anyway, let's not hijack the thread with religious BS.
