One could include Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin in there too, but I do prefer Deano to Elvis, in acting and singing, by a long shot. He might not be quite as good as Frank in singing, but not any worse either.
There have always been popularity contests here, and elsewhere in life, but that shouldn't keep anyone from posting their opinion. There are obvious "attack" threads, posted just to get a rise out of people, and those that are controversial, but overall, it's just another slice of life.
Ahhh, no, it's not, but that has nothing to do with old threads. Some of those old threads are relevant topics, and many people that may have either missed them, or not been around then, may have something pertinent to add to the discussion.
The main reason in threads, or the forums, being possibly less interesting, is the lack of members participating. I still find them interesting at times, but a lot less active, so less interest in logging in and commenting.
Some days I wonder why I have a look at all, let alone log in.
Not at this time, might be a bit cold. I do have a pair of mating ducks that I've seen over the years that return, as well as many other critters that come and go.
At the moment, I have a rather large squirrel trying to find a way inside, and my guess is it's a she, looking for a place to calve.
It woke me up last week before I went on a road trip, climbing around the windows, looking for a way in. I saw it, and it's "large", and I don't hold it against the critter to look, but not inside my home please.
I've put the long skivvies away for the season, but I might carry a pair with me, just in case I go back to Alberta for any length of time.
Hmmm, rain forests, we have a temperate one that starts in my area. I've been trying to find accurate info on cedars, but with little success.
I have trees I know are Western Reds, and some are what people call Yellow cedars, which look like cedars, but aren't supposed to grow in this area, yet there are LOTS of them.
I must look a little odd, stopping at the side of a highway, peeling bark, sniffing it, eyeballing leaf/needle structure...
Actually, it would be 2 cream, 2 sugar, regardless of the size of the coffee, and that's a Timmy's hot chocolate pictured in your post.
A friend and I almost went in on a Timmy's franchise 20 years ago. We had the location picked out, financial backing, and everything, until we approached the corporation. Things turned sour right quick, when they started dictating, and we backed out almost immediately.
Funny thing though, they opened a Timmy's in the spot we'd chosen a decade later, and it was one of the busiest locations in all of Canada.
Told me one thing, never do business with a company run by lawyers with their heads up their asses.
Funny you should say that, I was at my lil' beach in the back yard yesterday and today. No snow left here other than a few shady spots, double digits and sunshine, and only getting better every day.
Slow cooker, no matter the critter, it always turn out rather well. Just have to add your favorite spices, vegetables, herbs, and wait for tasty result.
Don't get me wrong, I have tried it a number of times.... G&T, Mint Julep, Tom Collins, Tarminis of many varieties, and even had a Pimms, ginger ale and cucumber over the weekend. It's still one of the only things that doesn't really appeal to me for some reason.
RE: Ladies what is your preference when it comes to a man's appearance?
Aha! The kissing bandit strikes again.
