Europe never wants to own us. they want to look up to us and credit us when it due, just like things once were. Obama's popularity and the criticism of our foreign policy do not make our land a property of Europe or any other continent for that matter.
Serving one's country is not a monopoly held only by military. You can serve your country in so many other ways. Equally, and with all due respect to those who have fallen to the hands of enemy, POWs are not the only heroes in this country.
