No torture is NEVER acceptable under any circumstance! It doesnt work! You torture someone long enough and they will admit to anything and what they dont know they will make up as they go.
What works is the Stockholm Syndrome. Make your captive see you in the same light as themselves. Talk about family, friends, children. There are many psychological ways to extract information from someone and TORTURE isn't one of them.
I think it will collapse because it is a self consuming system based on debt and growth. The economy cant sustain without growth. The bankers know the scam they propagate.
I dont advocate drugs being sold in any store. I am for legalization along with HEAVY regulation. Only sold in state run outlets, very cheaply and governed buy even tougher laws than alcohol. Like a mandatory life sentence for supplying drugs to a minor. Zero tolerance for diving high, mandatory life suspension of driving license.
Drugs need to be regulated just like alcohol, and you cant regulate something that is illegal. The madness is giving the cartels something to make money off of.
Before the il-legalization of alcohol anyone of any age could legally buy alcohol then we had prohibition the 21 amendment ended that and new laws about who could buy where and when they could buy were enacted.
okay lets assume these stories ARE true, did the illegality of drugs stop them from happening? NO!!!! If they happened drugs being legal or no not didnt stop them did they?
I would be interested to see the sources of these stories, they sound like something out of the 60s movie "Refer Madness"
Did you ever stop to think that maybe these people in these stories (assuming they are true) were psychotic and the taking of drugs was a symptom rather than a cause?
So I ask again, what drug are you selling that you want to keep illegal?
But I digress, how about we just look at the prohibition on alcohol and how well that worked out. Illegal alcohol brought us Al Capone and the drug war brought us Pablo E and all the other drug cartels.
I agree, the problem is the crime associated with the drugs not the drugs. Make then legal and cheap and you solve the crime problem attached to them. Then you can address the health issues on a much more effective level.
It is commonly known that the people who want drugs to be illegal the most are usually the ones selling them. So what drugs are you selling?
As to the tax issue, I am tired of my taxes being spent on this. People who do drugs are going to do them whether they are legal, or not so I say let them kill themselves and reduce their drain on society.
If you read my previous post and dont take one part out of context you have to admit that I am right
And so the retaliation inspires Israel to launch a nuke at Iran? Russia who is allied with Syria and Iran retaliates in kind binging their other ally China into the game and this isnt WWIII?
That has to be the most insane argument in the whole debate. Look under your kitchen sink, you probably have the ingredients for a chemical weapon right there.
No I like seeing a different stance from the normal ultra liberal presuming that they speak for everyone due to the mainstream media bias.
Liberals think everything is the conservative Republicans fault while refusing to even look at the way BOTH parties have sold us out to special interest like Monsanto.
The reason some American don't like Obummer is because we have this thing called a constitution that Barry Soetoro violates with no conscience about it
Then again liberals in every country just love Barry, maybe if he started drone attacks in Spain your opinion might change
Who do you think well be the next US president
I wholeheartedly agree,it would be nice to see someone who understands something other than politics get the job
