we are not always the perfect people, sometime will do the craziness things. I do not like the people who always think they are the perfect ones, that how foolish they look like spending time on cs to write the comments for me is just a waste of time, but sometime I will let myself relax with peace in mind, but not always, .....
I think first time the gentlemen will take risk, and second time lady will take risk , or you do not want take all risk of finance , then you can ask her to share equally the travelling fee, hotel fee etc for the 1st time. let see her reply, if she say no, then you still want to meet her, then you have to take all risks as it is your real intention to meet her as you have no other choice .
it is a very tough issue, but there will be the best solution for each specific case. I think the kids will feel their parent's true love for them if you really care about them and take care of them sufficiently after the disvorce.
if it is difficult for you to find the local lover, then you should be risky to invest some money in travelling to find the far distance lover also combine the trip to visit to many places and learn about different cultures, relax yourself,
