There's thread on here going back to June '05. Threads don't get removed unless they're objectionable. Did you think your threads would be posted to indefinitely?
At first sight, no, cause you can't judge whether you love someone or not by looks alone. But first meeting, yeah, I believe in that, cause it happened to me!
When he makes you feel good inside, and it just keeps getting better the longer you know him.
If you're asking this question, the answer's no. Sorry, it doesn't get any better when it doesn't start out right. You can try your damdest to get him to open up to you, it ain't gonna happen. JMO.
Yep, and if I hadn't found myself first, I'd have never found him. I hate it took so long, but I had to do all the stuff I did to become who I am now, my true self. Life can be heaven, if ya don't settle for hell.
I hate to say it out loud, but my Robert is all these things and more. I didn't even know they made men like him. He can read me so well it's almost scary, he cares about my feelings, and knows how to show his own feelings. I'm totally not used to this, but I like it!
It doesn't really matter, cause they're not gonna listen to you anyway. By the time they turn 12-13, their friends' opinions matter to them more than any adult's. Ya just have to give em as much love and direction as you can before then, and if or when they do stray, they'll come back around eventually, if they have the values as a foundation to fall back on.
Raising kids, especially teenagers, is a hit or miss proposition at best. There are no hard and fast rules, cause every one is different, and responds in their own way. You just do the best you can, and pray a lot!
Rehab only works if you want it to. And really, all they do is get you off of it safely, the hard part is staying off. They just give you the tools, it's up to you to use them.
Don't try to cold turkey on your own, it can be dangerous, even deadly. There are places to go if you don't have insurance. Get the phone book out and start calling. Your local AA may be able to tell you where you can go for detox help, give them a call if you really want help.
My prayers are with you. I've been through this with a family member, so I know it's not easy, but it's worth it.
Britney Spears Christina Aguilara Mariah Carey x 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 <running screaming into the night!!!! arrrggghhh!!!>
I agree with Stacy. Saying how good-looking you are is a turn-off for most women. Besides, they can judge that for themselves from the pictures. Tell about yourself, what you like to do, what kind of person you are. And I like one of the other pics better also, the 3rd looks best to me. JMO. You seem like a nice guy from your posts, good sense of humor, that's always a plus in my book. Good luck in your search. Love is out there, just be yourself and let it find you.
I know this is just a joke, but really, what kind of woman would ask this type question? Just like "Do these pants make my butt look big?" I can tell that on my own, and really, I just don't care! Like it or don't, take me or leave me as I am!
Really, don't even remember seeing your pic before, tho the name sounds familiar. Stick around and have some fun, if it's meant to be, it will be. And you can meet lotsa friends to talk to here.
I actually had this one used on me by a total stranger in a bar, from an old country song, "If I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me?"
I just gave him a drop dead look and said no. What else can ya say?
RE: Who's there
Pretty good, off work today. That's always a good day!
