To answer both of the above it's a yes and another yes; I have always felt life is passing me by no matter how much or how lil I have accomplished, and there are a few things left I'd like to do. I think it's normal to feel that; we are not immortal and we cannot stop time....
after 'a' date it's a bit premature to reach such a conclusion, however, your refusal was not the ideal response either. You ought to have been sincere about your fear and apprehension to just jump in and marry a stranger.
If she is "wrong" for you it will be hard to reconcile differences in the long run anyway, and probably she doesn't love you as much as you love her; otherwise she would make every effort to be right for you. So be practical and love yourself just as much.
Never thought about that actually, but I do realize that everyone is different and limited to their own ways of expressing that love, and sometimes it isn't so obvious....
The constitution has gotten lost in translation and we have lost sight of its true significance and intent....and we keep on getting these conservative dinosaurs talking about the need to separate church and state....well faith and schools and education isn't exactly church or state. Could it be that our forefathers were simply trying to avoid corruption as opposed to teaching morals to our youth?
