Northworst Airlines has a very bad history of trouble. Near constant strikes, bad service, worse food (providing that they deigned to give the passengers any). Knowing the company, anything could be possible.

I'm an ordained, non-denominational minister. I do remember while in Seminary a story told to us that the bible was interpreted from different languages- without hesitation of course mistakes were made. One Abbott spent ten years translating the bible from Latin to English. It was considered heresy in those days and his work was burned. He had to re-start his work all over again in France. Ten years worth of handwritten work. Ouch.

While the Creator gave us the gift of free will, it was not only a blessing but a curse. Critical thinking and the ability to do as we think is best. Not a one of us was made to be perfect and who among us has not shared in tragedy or has made a mistake in life? Christianity has adopted many traditions from other religions, etc... It's how one learns to accept and grow.

We're taught not to judge the souls of others, but rather their actions. That alone is left for the Creator to decide.

Now, what makes you think that I'm a supporter of that? Life was quite safe during those years and I slept well. Life was good. Heck, it's still good. I live in a snug home, still help people, still have faith. Do keep on with your hate, though.

AWWWw..Is poor widdle Dudie mad, because I called his bluff? As I said before and as I will say again, I DARE you to call my parents and tell them that they are anti social. It's s hame that you don't know how they and now are are known locally as Patrons and Patrona. We take care of others, especially those who come to our door asking for help, whether it be food, clothing or medical care, and a job. Now, how many families did you take in when Katrina hit, Dudie? How many? I took in 5 families- fed and clothed them, gave them a job and a place to live. How many people do you employ, Dudie? How many? I've got 10 wranglers and their wives working for me. I pay their wages, their health care benefits, feed them and pay college education for their children. My husband and I donate 20 head of cattle to the local food shelves a year- when you add up that each head of cattle is valued at $2000 a piece, it turns into quite a bit of money. How much do you donate to charity? So don't talk to me about being heartless when you yourself don't do any of it.

Fifty-one pages of an argument is not an arguemnt. It's an obsession run amuck and quite honestly, it's just downright disturbing to see you descend into madness like this. We want you to seek professional help. Really? That's all you have? Now I know you're mentally ill. I'm overweight because of some medication that I've been taking for several years. However, the medication is being weaned off and the weight is coming off, however you will be mentally ill forever. Food is not the end all, be all, Dud. And besides, I can't be all that bad considering that I've just recently been married.

Balance is always the key word.

Hubby and I donate clothes and money to the local women's shelter and I like to donate used books of hope and courage. I hope that it gives the women a sense of peace that someone out there cares, albeit anonymously. :-)

Good on you for opening a Women's Center. They are always needed and are very much appreciated.

I think we have to look deep within ourselves to find our feminine power and strength. Looking at where we've been and where we've come from.

Having come from a traditional role family with mom working as a neuropsychiatrist (She's still practicing at nearly 70!) My grandmother being a traditional role woman, it's when we step too far out of our traditional roles that we become unhappy. We can lead in ways that express ourselves, embracing compassion and femininity.

The relationship is Self. Recognizing it and putting forth our power to change the world.

Give the best of your passion and energy to the passion that speaks to your heart. The rest will fall into place.

We work together by supporting one another, even through disagreements and learning to listen through both high and low emotions. Support can go very far in the process.

In the end it's all about finding the Balance. :-D

Once a week I volunteer at the local Methodist church to help with their Angel Food Basket ministry to help give out donated food to those in need. My husband and I donate 10 fully grown steers which have already been processed to the food shelves. I like to bake and donate home baked pound cakes which seem to recieve rave reviews by all who taste them, it's so rewarding to help others.

Thank you, Gary. don't worry, I ocassionally butt heads with my best friends too. That's probably why we're best friends. :lol: We can honestly tell each other when the other is being a putz and it's all based on love and friendship.

It's all right, Gary. :hug I like you, we just butt heads. I grew up around my dad who served in Vietnam and my grandfather who served in the Pacific theater during World War II. Grandfather contracted malaria during that time and occassionally suffered from bouts of it. I was just continuing a legacy of military service.

Agreed. Gary, it can be hard to believe you. We all have our time with God. We all should. It's our choice to let Him into our hearts or not, that's what so wonderful about being given the gift of Free Will. We all have our cross to bear. Some bear it better than others, some less so.

I'd like to re-enlist again, but the injuries I sustained may not allow for it, plus, I'd be going in as a Chaplain. I miss being an officer often. Working with others, listening to problems and concerns, helping to resolve issues, speaking to people, etc.... the ranch is great in and of itself and I was born to this life, but I miss military life, the structure, the discipline, etc... I'd give anything for a bit of adventure again. I'm hoping to do some more traveling once this illness that I've been dealing with has is finally resolved.

I contracted MRSA somehow and have been battling it for 14 months, because the staph infection that started it all kept recurring. I've now got a PICC (Peripheral Inserted Central Catheter) Line in the major vein on the inside of my upper left arm to deliver the lifesaving antibiotics that I need to heal. I haven't been feeling very well and was hospitalized a few weeks ago because of it.

I speak my mind, Christians speak their minds, and you don't have the right to dictate what we must or must not do. You DO NOT have the right. Do you hear me? I practice exactly as I will and you nor anyone else will tell me to do different. How much do you give in charity, Gary? How many people do you employ on your ranch? Do you pay their health care, dental? Do you perform weddings for them when they ask?

You practice hypocrisy daily, Gary. Calling people names, threatening them, then crying foul when you are caught. Telling people to do one thing, then turning around and doing the same thing yourself. That in itself is hypocrisy.
