I'm out of business, well not completely that is to say the first very hard frost came this morning so all my plants are finished. Harvest all I could yesterday and today. But that means tomorrow I get to sleep in. Otherwise, I still have a bunch of watermelons to sell but within a week will probable be done for this year.
No really, today during a McCaine rally, some guy jump up and said 'End of American and beginning of socialism' or something like that. He was really heated.
I disagree in that lobbyist do have influence with people of congress and can and probably do often sway votes their way. This is why big business has gotten so out of hand. I am sure Obama is also influenced by corporate activities and McCaine is is a willing partner with big corporate business. Henceforth excess greed leads to these problems we have today.
I welcome the elephants. Will put them to work dragging logs out of the mountains and pay them peanuts. When the job is done here will send them to Canada.
I agree that SNL is really bias towards the left. The skit last nite was harious with reinactment of the Biden/Palin debate. Glenn Ifil doing a number of double takes with Palin answers was very funny.
