I never read his book nor would I want to, I think, in fact I know, it's way beyond my level of comprehension. I have a pretty good understanding of the mechanics of black holes and I don't accept the big bang theory. I'm more of a "Steady State" guy. I don't believe the galaxies are flying apart from each other rather it's the slowing of the speed of light through the a matrix of gravity which gives the illusion of receding galaxies.

The task of a scientist is not to try to prove anything, it is to try to disprove a theory, if a theory can't be dis-proven it is accepted as fact until such time as it can be dis-proven.
This is the basic difference between science and religion. Religion tries to convince people that their story is true by preaching and constant repetition and rituals like Sunday mass, bible study, outreach by going on missionaries. I guess they believe if you say something often enough eventually it will be accepted as fact.

That's what makes me laugh about Trumps stupid wall, he wants to ship all the Mexicans back south of the border and we wont have anybody to harvest our crops cause Americans aren't going to do that kind of work at least not for what CA farmers are willing to pay.
Years ago I went to a race out in California and from my hotel window I could see a big field of tomatoes next to the hotel. The next morning a couple of vans pulled up and a bunch of women got out and they formed a line on one end of the field. They walked through the field and picked every tomato that was there. I thought that was so cool. The next day I walked down by the field and learned that what I thought was tomatoes was actually strawberries. Man was I pissed! I could have pigged out on strawberries and didn't even know it. I could not find 1 edible strawberry. Those Mexican women didn't miss even 1.

Well, you ain't gonna get there by throwing your money away on hoping to win any lottery. PPC18 is right, a lottery is a means of raising money for all sorts of gov projects or various enterprises. It's a sure thing,..... but not for you. For them! People don't like paying taxes even though they ride on nice smooth roads paid for with that tax money or good schools for their kids or a military to protect them. They just don't connect taxes with a good lifestyle.

It takes money to make money. The more money you have to start with the more money you'll wind up with if you know how. Most people don't know how. The few that do, achieve wealth, the rest struggle their way through life.

Boy does that bring back memories! I lived for about 2 1/2 years about 4 miles from the Florence Ya'll in Independence KY. First time I saw that sign I said OMG I think we made a mistake coming here. In fact the morning I left the Holiday Inn to go to my first day on the job it was 5 below zero and I got freakin lost. I went about 10 miles past my turn off on Dixie Hwy. I was told go down rt 25 to a left at some road and I'm looking for rt 25 not knowing Dixie Hwy was rt 25.

The problem with ER visits is that so many people simply can't or wont pay their bill so in order to balance the books they shift their debt onto those who con pay at extremely high rates. My son had a breathing problem and went to the ER for help they referred him to a throat specialist and gave him a checkout and some prescriptions. He had to have his tonsils removed. The ER bill came to $1400.00. for virtually nothing. He had to pay it or kiss his credit rating goodbye. The surgeons bill etc was about 3X higher.

BTW woodstock those Shriner ads are a joy to watch. I guess that is the plan right?

From a very young age I thought of life as living in a perfect vacuum, only instead of it trying to suck the air out of my lungs it was trying to suck dollars out of my pocket if I ever failed to keep it zipped up. I visualized living in a capsule in outer space, open the hatch and wooosh all your money gets sucked out never to be seen again.

In addition to all his other shortcomings, this worthless "president" has spent 100 days of his first year in office at his Mara Lago resort in Florida playing golf. What is it about Republicans that they are so n love with batting little balls around with a funny looking stick? It seems to be a trait of Republicans. Ronald Reagan was a big fan of golf as was that other useless Republican president Eisenhower, all he ever did was play golf when he wasn't spreading nuclear technology around the world with his stupid "Atoms For Peace" initiative.
So it looks like we only have 2/3 of a president. 1/3 of his time he's playing golf 2/3 of his time he's screwing things up like starting a trade war or worse. Maybe he should spend 200 days on the golf course, it might be safer for us.

How do you know what's in my mind? I wouldn't waste my time or energy hating him, I just have no respect for him. So far he hasn't demonstrated to me that he has any right to even enter the White House much less reside there. It might surprise you, nay shock you, to learn that I'm actually impressed with his coming out in favor of more strict controls on the easy availability of assault weapons by teenagers.
BTW I don't hate Trump but you sure do hate me it seems.

I will answer your question because you didn't call me names or resort to insults.
Throughout the campaign and during his first year Trump was playing to his "Base". He continues to play to his Base but what he doesn't seem to realize is that as POTUS his "Base" is now the whole population of the USA, not just a piece of the Republican party. Democrats are now a part of hi Base. He's not in a campaign anymore. Next, I don't care for his style of governing. Running the administration in chaos like it was his own personal play thing. I don't like the way he treats people like calling the AG "Mr Magoo". I was never a fan of Jeff Sessions but that insult was way out of line and extremely UN presidential. Somebody needs to tell him he's not on a street in New York City anymore.

I don't care for the fact that he has family members serving i the administration. There is no way in Hell that Jarad Kushner and Ivanka Trump are the best people for the job. Their only qualifications are that they are members of his family. Same goes for his son Don Jr.

With his bombastic rhetoric he jeopardized my life by risking a nuclear war with NK and that will bring China and Russia into the fight. I have never felt fear like this since the 50's when an alarm would go off and I would have to go under my desk at school never knowing if I was going to be fried by atomic radiation.

I don't care for the fact that he uses his position as POTUS to augment his financial gains. That whopping Corporate Tax Cut for example. If all that isn't enough just the other day he proposed an import tariff on foreign Steel and Aluminum which will lead to a trade war. Nobody wins a trade war!
I could go on but I think I answered your question. Donald Trump, who didn't get as many votes from the people of the USA as Hillary Clinton incidentally, IMO is without a doubt the worst president this country has ever had.

As for Hillary (Not Killery) I was thrilled with the prospect of having Bill Clinton back in the White House even as the husband of the president. Now there was a great president!!!!!
