CD's have been crap for many years. Low interest rates make them a weak investment. The best time in buy a CD is when rates have peaked or are falling. When rates are stable or show signs of going up like now, steer clear of a CD. The danger is locking yourself into a low rate for a long time.
Well, I'm a little sceptical about electric vehicles for a few reasons. For starters I don't like the idea of having to drag around a very heavy, expensive battery, I don't like the range you can go on a charge and I don't like how long it takes to charge up. I think the low oil prices wont stay around forever therefore I would invest in something related to oil because oil will go up but nobody knows when.
That would probably be the safest approach for anyone who has no experience in these matters but I was hoping to hear YOUR ideas. If you had to decide what would you do, buy gold, stock in some company like Apple or Facebook, put it in a money market or savings acct etc?
If somebody gave you $5,000. with the condition that it all had to be invested in anything you choose, and after say, 10 years, you could keep all of it, but if you didn't invest it in 30 days you had to give it back, what would you do?
The owner of the land right next to me just logged 40 acres of mature Oak, Pine, and Yellow Poplar trees. The area looks like a lunar landscape. What's odd about his decision to sell off all the trees is that he is from Holland, a country where a rising sea level is a threat to the country. I guess he doesn't care about the fate of his homeland as much as he cares about money.

Like it was packed with explosives and it was an inside job and jet fuel doesn't burn hot enough to melt steel? Trust me, he doesn't! First of all, I delivered freight to the WTC and my company had a crew in those buildings round the clock. It was their job to deliver the freight that I brought on pallets to every office in the whole complex. There was not a room that they didn't have access to, not even a closet. If there were cases of explosives rigged to explode they would have seen them. Also, steel I-Beams don't have to melt, they only have to weaken enough and the building comes down. And I suppose those planes were a hologram that slammed into the buildings. And the hundreds of people who were on the planes are still alive and hiding somewhere.
Role model? How is Trump a role model? He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Everything he got in his early life was given to him on a silver platter. Do you think if he was born into poverty instead of great wealth that he would be where he is today? If you do, there is a bridge in lower Manhattan I've been looking to unload and I can let you have it real cheap.

Zebel, Pay close attention to what I'm about to tell you. First of all, you are very young, you have most of your life still ahead of you. You have accomplished a great deal already and the best is yet to come. My advice to you is to set a goal for yourself to get out of Iran if you hate it that much. The world is full of countries that would love to have a smart educated guy like you and they are not controlled by any religious backward government.
Second, you have made a big mistake in your profile in the part that describes what you are looking for. You have put the word man in place where it should say woman. If that was in error, I suggest you change it as soon as possible. It doesn't match what it says at the top of your profile. This is probably causing a lot of confusion for anybody reading your profile.

I'm curious how you would know who I communicate with by phone and email especially 4-5 years ago. Seems kinda strange. Besides there's only 1 woman I can remember having any words with in any way from Arkansas. Most of the "women" I talk with are from Nigeria or Ghana.
