I can't believe no one is writing here. . I havn't been here except 1 or 2 thread repliessss. Otherwise been a few years. It was never as active as the internat. forums, but we did communicate. I'll check back this week see if anyone has been around.

I just came back and see more replies, It feels good to appreciate what you may not notice if not looking for it. I have learned to appreciate a ride being on time, than to just not appreciate it, but if my ride is late, I notice then, or use to.
How often do we comment on winter weather like roads are clear just expected. However if it's a snow storm to drive through we sure have comments then . anyway appreciate all who are sharing.
If I hear a positive comment yhat made a person feel good, it's catchy, I start feeling good.

I believe Jeepers was an unusual man. He was 1 person who left this world better before he ledt. I have a funny exchange from him right before he passed. I still smile thinking about it. He touched so many lives. He is an inspiration to me still.

I agree Peach about the honest. Honesty is hard to find in this world. . I know many people are on different sites just to do forums or groips, not really looking. That's okay too.

Curious, has anyone met and then dated a few times, or commit to each other from here, or any dating site? Seems like most of us don't meet many or any at all. Sometimes we may be to choosey, so our own fault. For whatever the reason, how about you?

Latley have been hearing abou so many security breaches. 1 govt. official who had several names and ssn's in a breifcase someone stole form his car. Target Stores at holiday time last year lost much info presened at check-out- credit cards. Heard today that hackers got into a company that does hospital billing. Then there's never knowing if Big Brother is reading. It seems like we are all out there and not much is private anymore. Of course often it is because we haved shared info without considering who may see it. I try to live what I consider a life where I don't do wrong, am not out to hurt anyone. However I speak my mind on a few subjects and if that should be a down fall for any reason, just being me.
What's your thoughts on your personal info getting in the wrong hands, whether a pc hacker, the govt., or ???

What positive happened to you today?

I hope all are doing well. Of course always some who aren't at the moment. For those hope things change for the better soon.
Each day I try to concentrate on he positives in my life, sometimes a small blessing I have taken for granted in the past.
So even when situations are negative, I try to see the positive. Of course I have times when to much on my plate and many problems. Then I count some of my blessings and it often helps me to feel better. I see blessings as having a gat car, or meeting a great guy. I also count blessings I use to take for granted, a bed, 4 walls,electric working, having 3 cats that love me......
I have been doing this for about 3 years now. I have found it has kept me from emotionally falling down, (most of the time), I have a better attitude in general.
So wanted to share in case someone here wants to try the same. If your having a bad day, or been depressed about life, it can work for you if you want it too. Not a know i all Not an expert on the issue, just know how it has helped me and offerring food for thought.

I like hearing the good things that happen in other lives. So what was positive for you today? Me, I got through totech support for pc quickly and matter was handled in a few minutes. A neighbor carried in 2 heavy packages by my door. I am having only slight pain compared to recent physical condition, So share 1 or 4 that happened o you. Could use some good news.

In all the years I have been on here, (not particularly proud of it), I never thought to look when it was an added feature. Was going to but forgot about it and next day I was away from site till past year or year and 1/2. So now I will look. I wouldn't rate by looks, to each his/her own.

I have 3 true caring got my back the real thing friends. I have many aquintances but that's just what they are. 1 female friend friends for 34 years. 1 male friend 24 years, and last but not least my father. I have lost 2 great friends who passed on when they still had alot of living to do. I have great memories .

I have many memories of childhood. 1 in particular was my father taking me to the planetarium in Natural History Museum. I was 8 and had just got a telescope, that month I was into astronomy). I was in awe looking at the fake night sky on ceiling. Picked out the big dipper. Always time with Dad was good .

Well this has been an interesting discussion to follow If there is anyone not aware, you should be careful going to links posted anywhere in cyberspace. If you don't totally the source, even a business ad, don't click on it. Great way to get a virus. Not saying the OP here is doing that sort of harm. Just a suggestion to keep in mind.

Good day. If the mods. are being unfair to you in your opinion, then need to take it up with them. A thread may make you feel better, especially if others agree with you. However if every member agreed with you, wouldn't change the site mods. rule. No one said life is fair. Nice photo you have on now. I must say over the years I have seen many photos that were not a person, scenery or maybe a mask, so don't know if rules may have changed????

This site should have more post more often in Forums

We are fortunate that here we can see and hear opinions and facts from people all over the world. If we try, many times we can learn from forum posts. It would be great if like a few years ago, people got on here more often and so there is a group all here at 1 x. Now many threads are 4 or 8 hours ago. Then this place is also great to have fun and joke. A few members make friends from here and carry it on in their life. Yes this is a boring thread and it will be passed by. That's okay, as long as someone reads it.

I am 59. I am not what ladies my age were when I was young. I still dress in clothes I like, and some of it's trendy like the younger women wear. I am very active and still love good rock music along with other types. I still laugh at much of what I did 30 years ago. I have friends 30 and 70. Many of us older folks, don't realize our age. I did notice in my late 40's stopped getting looks and glances from younger men. I know I am not physically who I was at 28. I also know that I have learned so much and have been blessed with wisdom through the years. As it is said, I earned every wrinkle! To each his/her own. I don't judge others by the choices they make, just please me and I am getting comfortable in this body. It use to bother me when I got naked and saw my grandmas body in the mirror in front of me! We all go through cycle of life. I am just me, no stereotype.

Long thread so forgive me for not reading along before posting please. My answer, people who are not considerate, think about themselves only, usually don't read entire profile. Some just look at photo and write. Not a ? you could get a real anwer to, even if those who write were to answer. It's like why do kids shoot up schools and kill others? Or less tragic, try to figure out why people do what they. Won't waste time trying to figure out what is actually not worth my time. Just delete. Goes with being on a dating site

Wow Alli, been awhile, good to see someone from back about what? a century? Feels like it since I am here to find my better half- . Been 5 or 7 years.
Anyway I just dropped in here cause I have visited Canada a few times and I think it is very clean compared to USA. I don't think I would like socialized medicene, but otherwise from what I know, good place to visit and maybe to live.

You meet a person on a dating site. There are 3 or 4 messages back and forth. The person seems to be really into you and you also. Then the other person just stops writing.
Or it goes to the phone next, seem to be getting along and suddenly no call and voicemail when you call.
This has happened to me and some others I know of.

Slapstick usually makes me laugh. For sure the show "Seinfeld", sometimes I have laughed so hard I cry. Shame on me but a reflex, when someone falls down in a parking lot.

Speaking for myself. When I first came here, (1st dating site for me), and went to other sites also, yes I believe I was being unrealistic. Been about 7 years I think on and off sites, dating the posssible number 1. I have learned just recently,,,, to give men a chance even if they don't fit my list of haves and wants. I also have accepted my age and no longer think men about 60 are old like a grandpa type. It's now how we get along, does he make me laugh, is he affectionate? Does he put the seat down after? I realize I may have missed out by being so choosey.

Do they confess to being wrong? What type of progrType of crime? Many factors.ess is 1 going through in prison?
