Prefer the malt shops,tv shows-Gidget-Flipper-Adams family. Sea Monkeys bought out of the back of a comic book. Slot cars, didn't last long in my area anyway. A few years ago someone got into others profiles and made a mess in the forums. We were exchanging phone numbers to know who it was and did they post whatever. Moderators stopped it in about 6 hours. Whoever it is, I'm over the shock now, could have made $ with those photos. People forget,THIS IS FOREVER IN PRINT!!! You can't tear it up. I havn't been here much in a few years, so I don't know very many people still around. I didn't know that IT didn't post regularly and felt so sad for what I thought was a girl being slammed so bad. Ready for a smoke now. My tummy is empty.
Not sure if your serious or trying to joke. If your serious, very sad and probably everyone has had some weird thing happen in a dream or they just awake and groggy the mind plays tricks. I know the night when all is still and peaceful, it is more likely to be lonely. JMO
Whatever IT is, still shocked that Mods. let it on site. Degrading to women who seriously want to meet a man on here. I learned a leson to look before I speak! Couldn't believe these guys were so mean. Oh My GOODNESS again!
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I apologize now that I saw the profile pics. How do you get away wwith those on here???? Mods. arn't patrolling I quess. Use to be a bad word was enough to ban you. To the op, sad you think so little of yourself to have to get attenton this way. Unlessss your a fake trying to use shock value. Well it worked on me
Gentlemen, hmmm. She said if you were a man. So what are you besides rude? Rhetoricl ?, I don't get into the put each other down threads, but cruel and bad taste to me is not very nice.
I am 58 so the 60's were my time of childhood. We called flip flops, thongs and they were made of rubber, not considered stylish, practical. Hula Hoops I could never keep it going . The Beatles first USA appearance on Ed Sullivan Show. I was 9 but remember it well. 45 record singles and vinyl albumss. 1st was used in late 60's and hippies wearing tie dye shirts, done at home.
IMO marriage works if you both work on the marriage. When saying "Ido", the bliss and lust and love and adventour are all good. However there is also going to be work that keeps 2 together. Communication is essntial as is respect. If you respect your mate, then you will listen to his/her thoughts on a subject if different from your thoughts. Keeping the bedroom exciting is usually a way to keep your partner smiling. Marriage has changed I believe because 1, women now drive, work, don't always depend on husband for $ as in years ago.2, people arn't willing to work on marriage if in trouble. Easy to just move on to some.3, vows are recited on wedding day. How many have thought through what they are promising? I think it is sad people marry when they don't know their partner well enough to spend rest of life with often. If you knew you couldn't marry unless it truly meant forever, legally you would have to stay with that person forever, some would think twice. So my opinion. I want marriage but only if it is with a man I have gotten to know as well as I can. If I am in love, not feeling lust, gain, or fun times in marriage. If he feels the same and we share many values and agree to diagree on some isssues, can only hope and pray he is willing to comprimise as I will and always feel a deep devotion to me as well as being good friends. It has become a throw away world, temporary solutions. Sadly many have put marriage in same category. To those who stay together through thick and thin .
Okay I lied! Not on purpose though! I did come back at 7 AM est. and no thank you to a duet with boban, well okay Hope I'm forgiven. Again typo in my message title of all places Need to slow down and check before posting.
Now that people are not posting and receiving replies within minutes constantly like a few years back, I have ?. When you see a post 3 hours ago it was done. Do people including the op come back and read replies a few hours later? Thanks to any serious replies. I'll come back in 4 or 5 hours and find 0 replies I got a feeling. Worth a shot.
Must have missed the reason the op posted this poll. since subject of photo, I hate when men put photo from 10 years ago or even 20. We are who we are. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Also some scammers photos are obviously not real. I saw 1 that was actually a magazine photo of a model
Pedro nice to see something educational and interesting (to some anyway). I saw a special on some of those you mentioned on History2 channel. The garden grown in stone was really weird. There are a few otthers in that catagory too. Stone Hedge in England for 2. Thanks interesting.uote]

For meeting people for possible romance, it's okay but not the greatest in that area,. It should be biggest member site though. I have been on many . CS has groups, blogs, free cards that I have found are very well done and have used several times. There are both state and intern. firums, if you use thenm much, many emoticons. Moderators are great getting back to you if sa ?, and in getting the spammers etc. off site. Use to be much action going here in intern. forums day and night. Would come back more often if people were on here more . Hope that all members have a great night and for some day, and that your week is going positive by your choice .
I havn't been here much last few years. Whenever I do spend some time, it is a ghost town in the forums. Use to be busy a few times out of the day. Tell me when and I'll be here
Sorry this poll there wasn't a choice for me. I would treat them as I would anyone else. They can be just as sweet or funny as other people you know. They can also be mean drunk and have severe problems. I respect the persons talent but wouldn't treat them different from others not so well known.
Oldest person I knew well was my dear grandmother. She was still going strong at 92. I couldn't keep up with her when I took her to the mall! We flew to my fathers place in Fla. when Grandma was 89. Had so much fun. Right up to the end she was wearing lipstick and as she called it rouge (blush). My father is now 87. He walks 2 miles each day and then rides a bike later in day.
I know that myself and some others find it enjoyable to hear positive thoughts or experiences others have had.Take a moment to share a good thing from today or yesterday. Today I had to call phone co. about billing issue. Always dislike calling big companies and being on hold and then getting reps. that are not always friendly. My call today was put through quickly . The rep. I spoke with was very cheery, we laughed and she took care of the billing problem right then, very efficent. When I hung up I was smiling The lady was so cheerful and it made my mood better. Sometimes it's the little things that matter. Also today had a delivery of a heavy box. The UPS driver saw me opening door as he was walking back to truck. He came back and offered to set it in the house for me. Thank goodness cause I couldn't lift it. So if you like share with others something positive.
What do you remember about the 60's or if younger, the 70's?
