i am sure in near future voters will change the system.
first to go, is he non democratic Electoral College, as it is backwards, outdated and not representative of the population. . The idea of "representative democracy" as is "gives the sate a voice" makes no sense - does not create equality at all.
I am not a believer of the "democratic system " in US, neither I expect any major shift of the political system, as both US parties, in conjunction with State and Federal laws (created by both parties) concerning ballot access, have made it almost an oligopoly system.
the idea of a democracy is all options are available to people - even the idiotic ones. The US system is setup in a way that no smaller party has any chance to enter the political system. those 2 parties control the electoral system/laws .
It is media driven system with the greater showman/party ; a circus performance, paid by oligarchs.
shows goes on . until next election. Until there, red is grotesque; blue is revolting or/and vice versa. just colors, clubs, no substance in both political agenda.
