With a nominal GDP of $2.07 trillion, Italy is the world’s eighth-largest economy. Its economy is expected to expand to $2.26 trillion by 2023. In terms of GDP (PPP), its economy is worth $2.40 trillion and it has a per capita GDP of $34,260.34. Italy—a prominent member of the eurozone—has been facing deep political and economic chaos. Its unemployment rate continues to be in double-digits, while its public debt remains sticky at around 132% of GDP.
On the positive side, exports and business investment are driving economic recovery. The economy clocked 0.9% and 1.5% in 2016 and 2017, respectively. It is projected to edge down to 1.2% in 2018 and 1.0% in 2019."
I agree with you; 1. Every human will all get the virus - thats what the experts are saying. - either at this vague of the pandemic, or the next one, as this virus will become as usual as "flu" . the factor to influence the outcome is; a) 1st phase of the pandemic and no vaccines; B) second phase of the pandemic and perhaps a vaccine. If we stay apart and reduce the spreading of the virus we might be luck in the second.
2. Regarding political system, this is a great opportunity for us to implement "we the people" and make an impact in politics. The actual system does not work for 99.999999% of society. Of course we vote for the biggest "crapologists " in each country, and we are getting what we voted for. Some even elected morons.
3. Lets be completely realistic: no political party, in any country, do not concern themselves with the interests of citizens at all. The handouts that each government are "giving " to its citizens is no more than a future tax. It is not enough.
