RE: Rumors

Is yours close to that so we can test it?

RE: Rumors

I think people will just turn up at his door demanding pizza instead laugh

RE: Rumors

Before, there used to be a thousand post limit

Now, it is to infinitely and beyond..

RE: Rumors

No, their threads stay put.

RE: Rumors

Yes, but if you are a strong person, you won't let them get to you.

I know a member here who spreads false rumours, but does it so that many don't even realise it.
However, people are smart and do see through things.

RE: Rumors

I ignore most rumours.

If it is an important issue, then I fact-check it.

As for those who make up and/or spread false rumours purposefully, they are the lowest of the low.

RE: Say Anything

No Catholic would call it Londonderry

She's a scammer laugh

RE: Is any of this true ?

I 'simply observe' on here quite a lot so

RE: Harry and Meghan, the royal scandal.

I don't follow the British royal family, nor any other royal family.

But I would say be that being born into the family is like being born into the mafia, and just as difficult to leave.

It is nobody's fault which family they are born into.
Some people feel like they own the lives of the royal family. They don't. They are just other human beings,

People should be able to live their lives the best way they can for themselves and their kids.

RE: Lovly lady Means??

It just reminds me of the Fr. Ted episode - The Lovely Girl Competition laugh

RE: Body Language

Meh, spark is really just another word for lust.
Don't get me wrong, I love lust.
But I don't confuse it with anything else

RE: The Etymology of Online Dating

Maybe you should have taken over the franchise yourself idea

RE: To get your day off to a good start

jaw drop

I don't consider that to be morning laugh
That's the middle of the night.
I wouldn't be long in bed at that stage laugh

RE: Body Language

The combination of both is even better

Sparks are fab but usually burn bright for a very limited time

RE: Body Language

I don't consciously read body language.
If I do it at all, it is on a subconscious level.

RE: What Brings "YOU HAPPINESS" and Peace of Mind?

The outdoors, walking, my dogs, my family, my friends, travelling, reading..lots of things.

RE: The Etymology of Online Dating

There's always a reason to.

RE: What Brings "YOU HAPPINESS" and Peace of Mind?

Being single or in a relationship doesn't really change what I enjoy doing or what gives me peace of mind.

RE: The Etymology of Online Dating

I use facial reactions when measuring those

sigh
crying
wow
jaw drop

RE: The Etymology of Online Dating

In self-description, it is usually wise to read what is written and then add or subtract one level.

If someone describes themselves as having a 'few extra pounds' I take it that there are quite a few.

Conversely, if a man says he is 5'9", I would take off 2" from that.

(I'm using imperial measurements as that's the default here)

RE: Dating over 50’s

It's all crochet and croquet with them

RE: Dating over 50’s

And that's just the men.

RE: Dating over 50’s

People meet up and date all the time, they just don't advertise it publicly.

RE: So many singles, so few meet ups

I knew it mumbling

RE: To get your day off to a good start

It depends what you have in mind uh oh

RE: What is your idea of a successful first date?
