Funerals happen here within a day or so as well. I don't think it's too much to do with Catholicism. I think it is just in Britain there is a long wait.
It is no more lying than any other country. All the people did die of coronavirus. Just because they had underlying conditions is not a reason to say they didn't die of the virus. They did. People with pre-existing conditions are more vulnerable to being infected. It is just a fact that goes with this virus.
Yesterday was the first time I had to queue at the supermarket. I obviously went at the wrong time Anyway, it was different to how you described. People were chatting and laughing with strangers at the prescribed distance.
Give yourself time to get fully over one relationship before going into another. Learn to.live by yourself, get to know yourself, and be independent before even considering another relationship.
It will be as always. It will bring out the good in some, the bad in others, the selfishness in some, the good humour in others, the scaremongerers, the fatalists, political divides and religious nuts
My last rescue was used in a puppy farm as well. She loved humans though, but was afraid of other dogs. My current two are also rescues. Totally different personalities. One very nervous of humans, she had been badly abused. She is well behaved though. The little madhead then is practically untrainable but is absolutely adorable and full of the joys of life
