An now I cannot help wondering how often this may have happened and how many of these platonic friendships have at least one partner who is prepared to love 'from a distance' in fear of losing the other one permanently. You get people prepared to love like that.
Hi CC There is a reason for this poll. A friend died about 8 months ago and asked me to tell his almost life long 'platonic' friend after his death that he loved her. When I did that she admitted to have been in love with him all along too. Such a sad lost love.
CS without doubt. For one CS leaves the the option to quit. It would seem that Face Book does not leave you that option. I have tried and every now and again I still get an email from them. After more than a year my account is still there.

How do I delete a message chain (history)? Everytime I receve a message I delete it after reading. But when I get a new message from the same person, the entire message history shows again. How do I prevent this?
This is because most people don't log off. They merely close their browsers. It takes the CS server a while to establish that the connection is no longer active. That too is why you get logged off if the connection is idle for a period of time.
