A while back I came across the following somewhere on a profile, Honesty is a must. I tend to disagree with this. I think trust is a must. I don't think we are honest by nature and find it demanding something that we are incapable of ourself. What are your views? No, you can't have a slice of both cakes here. Anyway, see you around or not.
Alicia,My story By Alicia Appleman-Jurman I picked it up a few weeks ago in a second-hand shop for a few cent. Relatively old, from 1988. It is a memoir of Ada Jurman's journey trough Europe starting in 1938. She starts her story being around the same age as my daughter is, but it is not a story I want my daughter to read now. None the less it is a story she will have to learn. Not only her but her whole generation. It is a disturbing story. I found it hard and very emotional. But I highly recommend it.
bull, I find it an unfortunate choice of wording even if it holds some truth. But that bull also holds plenty of seeds and fertile ground to repeat a growth of humanities greatest poisonous genocide ethnic cleansing civil-war war mass torture and murders or to put it simpler, a total decay of ethics and morals.
Guantanamo is planting the seeds. The rain to water it will follow eventually. Justice is not on the cards here. Some popular willingness for vengeance is, one that will only serve the political cause of some little dictators and tyrants waiting behind the curtains .
bull? no. An incomplete and incorrect comparison, yes.
Turning a blind eye as if any inhumanity is less inhumane than another and therefore justifiable is a dangerous move. Wir haben es nicht gewußt, it did not come out of nowhere
Land Rover 109 series 3 ugly, slow and not the most fuel efficient But a no nonsense sturdy functional vehicle, just how I like it. It got me from A to B and that's all I'm interested in with a car. a shame I can't afford one right now.
It was important to bury the dead in the right way so that he could join the afterlife with the same social standing that he had had in life, and to avoid becoming a homeless soul that wandered eternally
