will trumps divide and conquer approach with uk succeed.?

any growth in u.s will never fund uk growth. any few dollars trump holds back from the poorest of the poor, and add to the coffers n twist it into alleged econ growth , will be kept. in addition trump will seek to increase growth, via trade deals and reap in more. somebody has to pay for u.s growth and guess who that will be. step forward uk and pay us your share n forget about e.u. laugh uk depending on any u.s growth to support its own growth is a non starter. Brexit is a disaster in waiting for uk, and will be happy days for bush. in addition to other nations . so far it hasn't been good for uk or anybody else since uk threw the spanner in the works,, ,nations possibly pouring millions down the tubes in preparation for a no deal situation that may never happen. and if it does all that unnecessary layout anyway. the costs of picking up the pieces after uk .

UK economy since the Brexit vote: slower GDP growth, lower productivity, and a weaker pound

CEPEvidence of the UK’s economic performance since the EU Referendum is clear: GDP growth has slowed down, productivity has suffered, the pound has depreciated and purchasing power has gone down, and investments have declined. In this blog, Josh De Lyon and Swati Dhingra (LSE Centre for Economic Performance) argue that the impact of the Brexit vote on the health of the economy can now be evaluated with greater accuracy than previously. UK economy since the Brexit vote: slower GDP growth, lower productivity, and a weaker pound. . Most studies predicted that Brexit would have a negative impact on UK GDP over the long term. Before and after the vote . Now, however, some post-referendum data are available, which can be used to evaluate the health of the economy since the Brexit referendum.Firstly, the UK’s GDP growth has slowed down.Relative to G7 countries,, the UK has slipped from having the highest growth rate in the G7 before the vote, to the lowest now The sterling has depreciated and increased costs. The single biggest economic shock immediately after the referendum has been an unprecedented drop in the value of the pound. On referendum night, the pound fell from a high of $1.50 to $1.33. This is the single biggest drop in the daily exchange rate since the 1970s among the four major currencies of the world. the uk has yet to recover , and the uk hasn't even left the e.u. yet. the mere mentioning of leaving has brought this destruction . Purchasing power has gone down. On average, real wages have been flat since the referendum. both inward and outward foreign direct investment (FDI) have dropped .Overall, the real economy shows signs of productivity and real wage stagnation, which has taken the UK much lower than other high-income countries since the Brexit referendum.

Brexit is bad news all round. but not for trump ….he will cash in at uk expense.just wait for the post Brexit deals if it happens......America first. :

if trump influence on uk elections helps divide n conquer uk , he will have a true victory on more power n control over uk n trade. he can declare it to the media and it wont even be fake news. laugh

however, he may find its far easier to hoodwink the tories as opposed to the people. but then again the brexiteers hoodwinked the people already and he has them on his side. time will tell.

will trumps divide and conquer approach with uk succeed.?

brexit gave trump new opportunity to set his agenda. he can see the vulnerable position u.k. are in, and the potential for u.s. to gain more power and control over it, and manipulate its economy.

seems to me from that opportunity onwards the plan was to divide n conquer. all trump has to do is jump aboard , the brexiteer ship now n again and help steer uk away from eu, and if successful reap the rewards. .

Brexit hope , is a potential gift to trump , and he wants it yesterday laugh

will trumps divide and conquer approach with uk succeed.?

regards us economy. trump would do anything for money. cut funding to aid packages , the poor, sick, hungry ,,least well off in society will be his victims. not just in u.s. but other countries . that's his policy for saving money. there is no goodness in it, totally immoral. many people have suffered as result of trade war he has started with china. I suspect any boost to us economy is as result of what he has inherited from work of others before him that have come to fruition.. without his contribution u.s. would be even better off. the result of his current policies wont be seen for some time to come. all this division n conflict on stuff from environment to security to economy not good for America. he is at odds with all as result of personality n narcissism . it can only lead to destruction in the end.

he has uk firmly in his sights now. he can see the dollar signs there, …. more calls on the way.

but , its not just his doing, brexiteers will help .

brexiteers , think the countries around the world are queing up to give it great trade deals just because it leaves the e.u.laugh as if world trade org rules will be wonderfull .laugh

but,.. other nations will just see it as isolated and vulnerable and be waiting in the wings like vultures waiting for a wounded animal to break off from the herd and stray . they will be looking to pick its bones.
.......after all its other nations who will be looking to benefit from such tragedies. it will be very difficult for uk to get any reasonable trade deals, …...times have changed.

uk has no new technologies that the world market especially seeks. its not like olden times .n the industrial revolution days.

hopeing brexit wont happen.

buf if it does , uk will be just an isolated country in the atlantic , and will spend many difficult years to come.... not only trying to get reasonable trade deals with other countries...…..but also …...with the e.u. under diff trading rules. the paperwork alone never mind negotiations , would take an age.

it would be an age of struggle and most likely set the country back for many years to come.

will trumps divide and conquer approach with uk succeed.?

nobody is blaming trump. laugh

the fact that some in uk has not been happy with eu for a long time , is irrelevant . and the fact that uk referendum happened , and voted Brexit is equally irrelevant , in the sense that it had nothing to do with trump.

what is relevant is that an 0PPORTUNITY has presented itself, since he came into office...without any previous imput he has landed on his feet here.

he certainly sees the opportunities for America now that uk has voted brexit ..uk voted.on what I would call ….NATIONAL ISOLATION DAY.. it makes America stronger and uk weaker. obviously trump is going push for it.

if Brexit alas does happen......it wont be long before trump will be telling the nation of the GREAT trade deals he has made , and how AMERICA is better off etc...and he is the man made it happen after conservatives couldn't do it by themselves. laugh

he might even claim something like this...….I made happen in one phone call what conservatives couldn't do in over 3 years..laugh and the uk people listen to me , because they know I am right.laugh

will trumps divide and conquer approach with uk succeed.?

regardless of his good fortune , re misguided voters, there will be no thanks for it or to fate .

it just business . ..he can see he is onto a good thing if Brexit happens. its in America interest to isolate a country, more power over them re trade n more. he will do everything he can to make it happen.

he will try to conquer uk from afar . ..over the airwaves. laugh

RE: Mass incarceration

all should be treated humanely regardless of crimes committed , and costs. therefore, no executions against their will.

however, if lifers ,,or anyone else for that matter choose to die rather than life incarceration , i think that there wishes should be met and euthanasia should be available. (which of course its not ) i would regard this as a humanitarian response.

unfortunately , some inmates are so dangerous , n violent , and a threat to society that they need to be kept locked up indefinitly . its a difficult matter of judgement as to who these folk are. best of luck to the parole boards with that.

...................................................................................

on the other hand its a great irony i suppose that there are more criminals outside of bars than there is in prison, and just as dangerous or more violent.

however, when /if trumps wall is completed then of course they all will be behind bars ./incarcerated in usa.laugh
if trump gets his way economically ....they will all be trading among themselves......kinda like prison really. on a larger scale. laugh
