Healthcare Crisis - Do We Fear for Our Lives, Yet?

Hi snoopy, people in power positions already decide who lives and who dies. And they don't have to base their decisions on our true medical necessity.

If those deciding our fate don't agree with our lifestyle choices they are free to deny our access, even if they are guilty of the same or similar behavior.

Women are discriminated against on this basis more than men are, simply because of our gender and what the status quo defends as socially acceptable.

Think of it another way too.

Consider how convicted felons are treated after they've served their sentence of punishment for their crime. When they return to society and try to get a decent job with good pay and benefits they are denied based on their history of record even if they've rehabilitated themselves and no longer offend.

The same concept is applied in rendering healthcare and even employment capability to the average person whose committed no offense other than being culturally diverse.

What the medical community documents about you in your record that is now computerized and easily accessed at the touch of a button nationwide can affect every other aspect of your life and how much you will have to pay for services, if you are even allowed access to begin with.

And if we can prove deliberate fraud on their part, in that they intentionally create false reports to alienate and deprive us of standard care, the system will protect itself at our expense!

Rather than allowing us to have the matter investigated and our rights protected, knowing how seriously damaging these false reports can be to us and our quality of life they close ranks and doors and use subtle if not blatant aintimidation tactics to break us down into submission if we try to make a fuss.

Yes, they will force their criminal behavior on us simply because they can get away with it. And most people just accept their lot because there's nowhere for us to turn to obtain the justice that's illegally denied.

Once ObamaCare becomes fully implemented people will see just how destructive it will be when what we are being led to believe now is a means of support for the masses turns out to be another ruse to dig into our pockets, gather information, and put each of us in the category they decide we fall under based on their criteria.

It will become a "One Size Fits All" system that won't look good on anybody.

Hi Harley, I agree that money motivates us to succeed.

And there are people in every business enterprise that care only about themselves, while much of the effort they bring to their jobs reflects their personal standards.

But, if the service they provide lacks the quality we individually prefer we are free to take our money elsewhere to receive the value we expect for our expenditure.

Where I take issue in the healthcare industry is that many times if we don't like the quality provided we have very few alternative choices, and blatant discriminatory practices are normal procedure based on a person's medical condition, and what's written in their records.

Unethical, immoral, even criminal behavior that results in damaging people's health and their lives in general shouldn't be tolerated in such an advanced country like the United States.

While we repeatedly go to war in other countries, sending our own people to fight and die for the rights of those beyond our borders, we continue to deny the rights of our own citizens.

What's up with this double standard? Have we become so two-faced that one side can no longer see the other?

In an industry whose motto is to "Do No Harm", practices in too many cases are intended to deliberately injure, defraud, and alienate those whom they harbor bias against.

People need to become enlightened.

The problem is, unless we personally experience the injustice that does exist, we don't feel or see the need to make a stand for those who do.

But what we also don't seem to realize is that what happens to one of us happens to all of us sooner or later, in one way or the other.

Although Alabama, an extremely poor state that already provides their clients Medicaid benefits at a bare bones level, as well as the other states that are currently refusing to implement ObamaCare, it is predicted that they will eventually come around and establish it.

In the meantime, I believe Alabama is paying their physicians the denied care bonuses as a way to placate their pockets and keep them working instate.

Either way, it's "we the people" who are getting the shaft in the healthcare coverage gold mine. IMHO

Healthcare Crisis - Do We Fear for Our Lives, Yet?

Speaking from my own provable experience, the new healthcare law that is giving people the impression they will get quality healthcare services once they get some type of government enforced healthcare will find out quick enough that it's still the medical community and insurance providers who are going to benefit most from our compliance.

In state's like Alabama that have simultaneously implemented new rules to allow physicians to deny patient care so they can pocket the savings themselves, it's like a poor man's gold mine to physicians that are only practicing medicine for the money and life status they get from it.

CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Stories like this, where generous benefactors donate to those who otherwise have to endure their inherited lot in life is very inspiring. Even when the majority turns their back there are still a few that don't. angel It truly does take a village... thumbs up

Healthcare Crisis - Do We Fear for Our Lives, Yet?

The State of Alabama is notorious for conducting intentionally harmful medical experiments on its uneducated population. They have no qualms about using and abusing people under false pretenses.

Destroying innocent people's lives for their own gain.

From 1932 through 1972, they manipulated and lied to people to get their cooperation.

It took our federal government 25 years, until 1997, before President Clinton publicly acknowledged this and gave his personal apology for what the State of Alabama did under the guise of providing "free healthcare".

FREE HEALTHCARE!

In 1988, I was diagnosed with an "inherited blood disorder" while complying with the rules governing Alabama's worker's compensation protocol, and then I was subsequently coerced by my evaluating physicians to let them infuse me with blood products.

In 1996, only after leaving Alabama and seeking confirmation in another State did I find out I never had the alleged blood disorder and was wrongfully infused. Even though several of my treating physicians in the Alabama WC network knew of this they refused to tell me the truth.

Since 1996 until now, in 2013, the medical community and the State of Alabama continue to dismiss what was done to me, and refuses to evaluate, admit, or treat my ongoing complaints.

Nor does anyone involved in this cover up feel the need to apologize to me.

People! WAKE UP! If this can happen to me, this can happen to any of you too!

While serious change is coming, things will stay very much the same. In order to protect your health becoming informed is vital. Trusting the "system" to have your best interest in mind could cost you more than your money...

If people are told they will die or suffer serious side affects from being used as experimental guinea pigs, and that they won't be compensated in any way, yet they still want to proceed with the testing and sign consent forms that limits remedy to risk, their mental health should be questioned and tested for depression and suicidal intent.

So, does this kind of scientific research really make sense? Is it really on the up and up?

Healthcare Crisis - Do We Fear for Our Lives, Yet?

This is another concerned citizen's attempt to get the word out about how we are being mistreated by our governments.

We all know it happens every day, but we choose not to focus on it thinking that it won't happen to us, so it's not our concern.

But, when it DOES happen to us or someone we love, we won't and can't shut up about it until our rights are recognized!!!

No matter whose toes we have to step on.

Healthcare Crisis - Do We Fear for Our Lives, Yet?

People often accept free healthcare thinking that something is better than nothing.

Then, when we're seriously injured or die as a result of taking part in these handouts, are we properly or equitably compensated for any loss we sustain?

Or, are we told that we knew and accepted the risks, and are then left to suffer the consequences without any remedy?

Is this a fair business practice?

Or is the System really getting something for nothing from us?

Healthcare Crisis - Do We Fear for Our Lives, Yet?

Meanwhile, our governments and healthcare practitioners damage millions of people's health and lives, so they can experiment on us for their own medical study purposes.

And who gets to benefit from the knowledge they garner?

Also, people who are considered to be the least of all deserving of having their human rights respected are treated worse than animals under the same conditions.

Healthcare Crisis - Do We Fear for Our Lives, Yet?

The poor and uneducated suffer and die without even minimal care everyday. Governments don't give handouts to anyone, anywhere. Not even the U.S.A.

Having insurance coverage isn't going to change the "quality of care" we get.

Why do we think the uninsured tax payers are just looking for a free ride on the backs of their fellow tax payers?

Is this just a negative view to pit people against each other?

Healthcare Crisis - Do We Fear for Our Lives, Yet?

The way we all live our lives, white collar and blue collar alike, are very similar in the various activities and excesses we enjoy, yet class level is what allows or denies access to the same medical care available for the same diseases we all often contribute to due our own personal choice behavior.

Is this equal treatment?

We only have a "Right to Life and Good Health" if we can afford the high costs of healthcare?

While the reality is that "the high costs are what they are specifically to deny access to those who can't afford it."
