RE: China Building Island in Disputed Waters

Absolutely. A war with China would be a better thing to happen for Britain and the West than it would the Chinese. We can't beat them in the workplace, we can't beat them in tests, we can't beat them educationally, financially, socially or in any other way but war.

Before the Baby Boomers the West was the best in the world at nearly everything, but now the only relevant skill they kept is how to kill people en masse.

RE: Hunger : from a LOCAL point of view.

Cut immigration.
Bring back national service and the short, sharp shock.
Scrap the ASBO and bring back the riot van beating.

Bring back all the firm hand measures which used to prevent kids from humble backgrounds turning into dysfunctionals, and then stop giving away so many working class and entry-level jobs to foreigners. This would do most to prevent poverty and hunger in this country, the soup kitchens are a tragedy.

RE: Why get angry?

We can't all be Ned Flanders.

RE: Does it really pay to be nice?

People who are actually nice don't do it for the reward.

RE: Happy Birthday Kaybee!!!!!!!

I've always liked you, Kaybee. When I rule the earth you will be amongst the last to be executed, and this will be painless. Happy Birthday :-)

RE: Amtrak Crash

Considerably less than the $70+ billion of taxpayer's money sucked up by America's airlines over the last 15 years.

It's almost as if infrastructure cannot survive without the state.

RE: Casual or committed?

Even in the womanly world of fashion it is men who are the trendsetters: All the best dress designers are men which is a telling irony.

And then there was the swan experiment. Given a choice between a male swan on his own and a male swan surrounded by cardboard cut-outs of female swans the female swan swam towards the latter every time. This is what's known as pre-selection, the process where the group at large validates what is best and determines what the individual desires.

This pre-selection also explains why women lean towards leftoidian views of social constructs because they themselves are products of the social environment to a much larger degree than men are.

RE: Casual or committed?

For both the man and the woman. If she is what he wants it doesn't matter if he has to beat and gouge 1, 10, 100 or none of his rivals to get her. His pride demands that he wins the best for himself and he decides what that best is irrespective of others.

But to her it is different. She needs to know that he is a man that other women want, that this is a choosy man, and despite of his options and choosiness he picks her because she is that special. Her vanity demands that she beats other women, no woman wants a man that no other woman wants, and in the world of the vain you allow others to determine what you think is best - e.g. fashion. Something which women unsurprisingly follow much more than men.

RE: Casual or committed?

The man in a casual relationship has the option of getting more serious if he wants. He is in a much stronger position than she is.(Exceptions exist).

However, to meet a girl so incredible it leaves you with no intention of putting her on the back burner is the best thing of all.

RE: Do you have a two month supply of food and water on hand?

Theatrics. It's a way of saying canned/tinned food is my last choice food. You know I also ended by saying rationing people is a dream of mine, do I sound like I'm filling in a government form? Do I sound literal? And do you have to sound so religiously one-dimensional?

RE: Can one live off liquids only?

I was sure from the title this was going to be one of Pedro's threads, but instead it's you, much nicer.

RE: time of earth before religion

Religion began the first time a self-aware being looked up at the sun.

RE: What was your ultimed spiritual expereince to make you know there is more after death

I once found hell on earth at the bottom of a KFC chicken bucket. I have to say I was deeply moved, I'm a changed man ever since this brush with the abyss.

RE: Do you have a two month supply of food and water on hand?

No. I won't even buy tinned food because it's for crackheads and wars. However, I would make a damn good looter and I am sure that I would steal more than enough supplies. I would then get the chance to do rationing on people - which to be honest has always been a dream of mine.

RE: Ireland Thread 2015 - The 80's Kids of Ireland Unity

Food banks?

Or what about converting them into the new universities they have for remedial tier higher education? There's one of these near to me that used to be an all-night petrol station, and I doubt this can be good for any student's confidence and self-worth.

RE: Should we be concerned with the detention of mothers and children?

So we should suspend the law for migrant women with kids?

I believe these families should be grateful if they get in at all and the ones who aren't grateful should be sent back to whatever hole they came from. They should be quiet and so should you(is it actually the women themselves complaining or just lawyers?), why you or anyone else would wish to make them sound like they don't appreciate us is beyond me.

What if the pendulum swings back as sympathies dampen, and you all find the noose hanging in front of your necks?

RE: Awareness

A few bad apples spoil the bunch is the general self-preserving attitude people have towards other groups of peoples they don't know. And when it's the White rough the middle class have no problems writing them all off as a spoilt bunch, so why do the middle classes(or some of them)make the self-conscious exception(at least in speech)for Muslims and immigrants etc? Why when it's them do the bad apples not spoil the whole bunch?

RE: Awareness

Or it's like insulting or avoiding "rough" areas because of the criminal minority there(a self-preserving prejudice people are allowed to keep because it's a class prejudice).

Most times you'll be fine walking through the rough areas of Manchester at night, and it's the few times you're not fine which earns the reputation and scorn from everybody else. So why should we treat Muslims any different to other dangerous communities? Why this when even law-abiding Muslims so often stand against everything we believe in?

RE: Why do Finnish people love Metal?

Basically metal fans come from the same place - physically, mentally and emotionally - as emos and hipsters. And these days I would say that many would-be metal fans have been absorbed into the emo/hipster fold.

RE: Why do Finnish people love Metal?

My guess is that in Finland there a lot of people still pissed off because their parents didn't buy them that Nintendo/Playstation/Xbox for Christmas.

Metal is the music of White middle class virgins who can't dance or play sport and were likely bullied at school. If hip hop & R n B were street and cool, then metal is the suburban and dork opposite.

RE: Why do Finnish people love Metal?

The more safe and boring the area the more metal fans you find in it. Most heavy metal fans are dorks from the sleepy places(often posh sleepy places). And Finland is the ultimate pleasant land where nothing happens and people don't do anything fun or have any personality.

RE: white smoke!!

It's not fair that white people have done almost all of the things worth remembering in America, and so in the interests of fairness history should just be a dispassionate list of everything that has ever happened to anyone. The only problem is that history class would take literally forever.

RE: how is everyone?

How cruel. Don't kick a dog when it's down on the way up.

RE: white smoke!!

Why? The reason you have the distinction for "Black" is because it's given that American history is pretty much all White history. The addition of "black" or "white" is already saying that what you have isn't the real deal, like how proper coke is just called coke and lesser cokes get the extra word tacked on.

Unless this is a way to revise memories and now collectively remember an alternate history where Blacks and Whites made an equal contribution to the United States. Stranger things have happened.

RE: FEAR the ultimate weapon!

The flipside of many of my strengths is fear. The fear of poverty, the fear of divorce, some fear for the consequences of my actions, fears for the nation's future etc.. I would contend that fear is an essential aspect of being a reasonable and responsible citizen and adult prepared for whatever life throws at him. Also, there can be no such thing as bravery without fear.

RE: god fearing the number 1 most used word in female dating profiles

Most women don't like to think abstractly outside of immediate self-interest - this is what limits their debate, not their philosophy being more emotional. A lot of debate can go on between logicians and autists with their philosophies of the Human calculator on one side, and the earthy and organic philosophies of social beings on the other.

And they say god-fearing to sound trustworthy. Some of them might even be telling the truth, I don't know.

RE: Boat People

I would like to see them piled onto Jersey and Gibraltar or into Monaco and Luxembourg. There's a justice in turning the tax havens of the global super-rich into refugee camps for the world's desperate and poor.

RE: You, Tourism, Pollution and Destruction, DoesYour Country is Negatively or Posstively Affected by F

We don't need the money that badly so tourists, unsavoury as they are, can't do that much damage. It's not like the places you mention or somewhere like Spain which allows armies of young British tourists to take a figurative steaming dump all over them every year.

RE: sharia sub !!

Why wouldn't we allow this? Why wouldn't we grant economies of scale to Halal meat(making it cheaper)and limit economies of scale for non-halal meat(making it more expensive)so that Muslims can thrive at the expense of our own posterity?

There's not a traitor alive who could see anything wrong with this.

RE: realistic and practical versus emotional and illogical

Yes, men are more practical and women are more emotional and there are males who lean towards womanliness and females who lean mannishly.

But to be realistic is to be somewhere in the middle of all this. It's not realistic to think people are unemotional robots instead of Human Beings, and it's also not realistic to think that we are hysterically emotional children instead of proper grown ups. To be truly practical and realistic entails not being too much of either of these, and instead you should be as rounded and balanced as possible.
