All I would say is don't do the dirty on the one who wanted to keep things together(usually the Dad). If your children(especially the boys)think that Mum's done a number on their Dad then you will lose your sons forever(or at least their respect)and this may take 10/15/20 years to materialise in full.
Do not ever make the mistake in believing that once a divorce is done and dusted for you it will be done and dusted for your kids. Whatever you do today will have consequences which ripple through the generations for longer than you will live.
I'd expect the parent to suit themselves and then rationalise how the kids would be better off after he/she has decided what's best for number one. That's how it usually works.
And then after this the gnawing sense of guilt over letting your children down causes this parent to spoil the child in perverse compensation for betrayal.

We could lose(at least)50% of today's physical and mental labour and be none the worse(and arguably the better). Considering the complete and utter fodder that most people are these days it's a good that we can't fight big, brutal and bloody wars like we used to. At no point in our history have so many of our people been worthy of dying in a trench.
The stakes are far too high for war and this is what keeps the peace. Even if the Luddites succeed and every nation regresses its military into a backward state then we'd just go back to brutal fighting like our earthier ancestors did.

Orbiters are admirers who form almost completely one-sided "friendships" with people who exploit them for their own material, emotional or egotistical/esteem-boosting gain.
I forgive girls for having orbiters, almost all young hot girls have orbiters, but not women(or men). Over 25 and you shouldn't have orbiters anymore, you should be a proper grown up by now.
If I lead her on to that stage then the first thing I'd do is feel bloody ashamed of myself. I dislike women who keep orbiters, and for men to do the same is even more disgraceful.
Anyway, manners dictate that I accept the gift, then I'd be very honest at that point seen as I'd clearly not been honest enough already, and I'd turn it down if I felt that she was breaking her budget. Although if her gift-giving was that creepy and unprecedented I'd just say goodbye no matter what it was.
The fittest side would also perish in a nuclear war. I would say that nuclear weapons are just another aspect of modern society which refutes survival of the fittest(for better or worse). Nuclear weapons are equalisers. Nuclear weapon make unequal powers equal in the same way that a tough guy and a weasel are made equal by both holding a gun.

I know I used to read a lot more and that writing has always been my weak point. I hate CS, but also never want it to end. Why is that I wonder.. I'll tell you, normal is the person who would ask the above cliched question and mean it. Normal is the person entranced by their own uniqueness. A uniqueness that doesn't actually exist. The normalo response is to deny the existence of the norm for the same reasons that people who are the stereotype try to deny the existence of stereotypes. Generalisations touch a nerve within the people that are the ten-a-penny.
Numerous times I've asked "but what is normal?" when I'm talking to somebody average. I know damn well that they're going to wholly agree with the premise of the question and build rapport for my asking it, I can read them like a book, and it's not a very good book.
I feel sorry for men with aspergers. Dating women involves picking up on subtle cues and most conversation with a woman is essentially an opportunity for her to talk about herself, you're just there to hold the limelight on her. The solipsist, subjective and irrational mind of woman will never get on with the abstract, objective and logical mind of an asperger. Her emotional irrationality will piss him of just as his robotic logic will turn her off.
I've yet to actually meet a girl with aspergers(that I know of). The one girl with autism I do know well is actually quite sweet, she doesn't need to be socially dominant to turn me on so if she looked hotter than I probably would. At least for a while as I'd worry about having sons and them being more likely to turn out autistic.
A man with a good enough why can withstand any how. And she must be his reason why. Women need to forego petty and narrow self-interest and rediscover the greater duties of being a woman, failure to do so will result in your impoverished Granddaughters pissing on your graves.
