RE: Punishable?

The jist is serious. Fighting back is the best thing a victim can do. And this has to be done properly or not at all.

The bad thing is to put the idea in the victim's mind that their tormentor will be royally punished if only they kill themselves. Because more of them will then kill themselves.

You won't hear this advice from a modern parent or from the industrial-complex of anti-boy therapy. It sounds more like something from 50 years ago. But guess what? Three times as many kids kill themselves under modern parenting than they did in the 1950s. And we don't even have National Service anymore.

RE: Punishable?

I think if you're the victim and you lose your temper and then beat your bully or bullies to a pulp then you should be let off lightly.

For instance picking up a rock and mashing it into your bully's face is a perfectly acceptable response. Killing yourself is not an acceptable response and we wouldn't want to encourage victims to do this.

RE: Steven Hawkins, warns artificial intelligence could harm mankind.

Law and order breaks down following a major energy crisis. A sparsely populated countryside exists with something resembling a peaceful life, and a few of the major cities remain. But everyone is impoverished and terrorised by roaming gangs of savages. That's Mad Max.

RE: This is not a joke..for men only..unless women have real input..

It's not as bad as it was. At the height of silliness and decadence before the fall(the 1990s)a woman could accuse or demand near anything and it would be considered valid. But we're not all very strong feminists anymore, a woman can't quite do any mad thing she wants.

RE: Eric Garner

And the only scrutiny put upon these was when one of the black guys started to criticise Obama. The anchor didn't know which brown person to take sides with, bless him

RE: Eric Garner

I was watching it on BBC so obviously the side of the police and the court were not at all represented. We only heard from Black people and white middle class civil rights lawyers.

Having said that I expect the police to be guilty of something. You can't place your police and justice system under the constant strain of something as feral and orcish as the Afro-American community and expect nothing to go wrong.

RE: Steven Hawkins, warns artificial intelligence could harm mankind.

Optimistic scenario.

Have you seen Mad Max? That's what's going to happen.

If global Liberalism fails it'll be Mad Max and if it succeeds then the future will be something like Brave New World.

RE: Judging by my picture how much would you guess I weigh?

And then there's the trifling matter that it'll kill you...

Kudos to you for not joining in the kind to be cruel chorus of misinformation from the CS cult of death.

RE: Better advantages?

True. For an experiment try re-posting this after swapping your pics for those of an ugly woman, or better yet, under a man's profile and see what happens.

It's truly sad how a pretty woman's personality is sapped by the ease of which she obtains recognition from men. I don't say this very often because the importance of beauty cannot be understated, but a woman's personality does actually matter. The irony is that I am one who openly and repeatedly says beauty is the most thing in a woman, yet I'm one of the few men here who holds a woman to account on the grounds of her personality.

RE: Judging by my picture how much would you guess I weigh?

It would be difficult not to perceive you.

Have to say you might be a little bit too big for me. But what's the prize if we guess correctly?

RE: Better advantages?

The usefulness of looks does largely depend on whether you're a man or woman. Girls envy the prettiest girl but boys do not envy the prettiest boy, instead they envy the most confident/cool/talented/strong of the boys.

This is a truth everyone knows in the playground, yet many wilfully forget as they get become older and less honest.

RE: Better advantages?

Handsomeness is a seed at the game, maybe even a high seed.
Beauty is a golden ticket.

A really handsome man could get by on looks alone but he'll never be the envy of other men. A male 10 with no personality or status will not get a female 10 with no personality because beauty trumps handsome by a country mile. What he would get is a female 6 or maybe 7 who won't give him too much of a hard time. And he will also not be able to sleep his way up the corporate ladder(unless he's gay).

Beautiful women, however, are inherently the envy of other women. And they also get what other women want. If she's beautiful she could get the man all other woman want and she most probably can advance her career on her back.

RE: On a more serious note...

Not to the point where you give more opportunity and support to criminals than you do to the poor which is how it is in Britain. A working class youth here is more likely to get the qualifications and skills he needs by committing crime than he is by obeying the law.

What was once a compassion for the needy has been transformed into thug-loving the responsibility for which has to be placed at the feet of women and the liberal middle classes, who being soft and cowardly by nature, are secretly and sometimes not so secretly in awe of the dangerous.

RE: do you, or don't you watch main stream media?

Sure do applause

RE: It isn't possible to radicalize an Agnostic

That's why radicals tend to be male and young. Manhood and youth is drawn to black and white thinking that you can be positively sure of(testosterone mentality), whereas women and older people tend towards shades of grey thinking(estrogen mentality).

Humanity is yet to strike the perfect balance between testosterone and estrogen. Yet to find that sweet spot between youthful energy with concrete certainty and the nuance, patience and subtlety of maturity. Or, more simply, Humanity is yet to find the correct balance between action and thought.

RE: It isn't possible to radicalize an Agnostic

Fair enough. But fence-sitting does make one less likely to be a radical and you've just described the weakness of the moderate and the mainstream and therefore the appeal of radicalism, which is certainty.

RE: Global Warming deniers, here's more proof you are completely wrong

They had a point!

RE: Global Warming deniers, here's more proof you are completely wrong

And of course the women are not as feral on the continent and they have much more traditional attitudes, ergo, they have greater self-restraint upon appetite. It comes as no surprise that women are twice as likely to regard Black Friday as a good thing, so wherever the women are most free you find that commercialism is the most excessive. Every Feminist outbreak blazes new pathways for Capitalism.

RE: Global Warming deniers, here's more proof you are completely wrong

It really is about everyday attitudes and culture and not truly the corporation. Corporations operate with respect to the culture they are in, especially when it's a consuming market(they give the customer what they want).

Take Black Friday for instance which is infecting English-speaking lands culturally close to America, but is being given no audience on the continent in France and Germany. Why? Because there is no market for this amongst the French and Germans. There is little demand amongst them for degenerate excess because they're civilised Europeans and not clone Yankee untermenschen.

RE: You've got my number do you still come on site

Yes, although it should temper my enthusiasm for other women I'm not going to ignore all my other irons in the fire for the sake of a phone number. Get a couple of good dates under the belt first, then I would give a little loyalty and expect loyalty in return.

RE: Has "Black Friday" made it to your country?

Just to think that if Britain had not let you win your war of independence then we could have been robbed of these blessings such as Black Friday, KFC and Mcdonalds which would have been such a loss to the world. I'd just like to say thanks very much to all the Yankee prole scum out there.

RE: Apparently It's Okey Dokey To Beat Your Wife

Because it's the perceived duty of society to step in and protect a woman from the consequences of any and every choice she makes as if she was an overgrown child. And this perception holds double in the online world of maladapts.

RE: here's a poll for everyone, am I attractive?

Gay and boring.

RE: The best and the worse place to be a woman, a mother, a journalist....

laugh

RE: is it ok to make older women pregnant(out of wedlock)? They want it !!!

By that age I can't imagine the baby will have to force its way out. It'd probably spend most of the third trimester bungee jumping with the umbilical cord.

RE: First date

That depends who invited who out for the date. If she's asking, then she's paying, and I will be taking liberties. I'll usually order lobster and maybe a £50 bottle of Barolo (The best wine ever. Obviously it's not really delicious like chocolate milkshake or fanta, but for wine, Mwah! Brilliant).

RE: Obama vs Republicans

*Tingle tingle*

Girls don't know the difference between confidence and competence. Charm can more than make up for the lack of everything else. I'd take Merri's post with a pinch of salt.

RE: french fries

If you go down to the collection of grey buildings known as Cambridge Ring Road University, seek out the post-grads, they will be able to sell you some fries. And maybe a burger or some fried chicken, too.

RE: Calling someone "Princess" sounds...

That's the spirit, lovechop

RE: Calling someone "Princess" sounds...

There's a kernel of mockery to that term of affection. It's like calling her kitten. Am I being cutesy and nice or am I teasing her fragility and sense of entitlement? It's usually somewhere in the middle. And it's something I say only to girls who know me well - seldomly friends, occasionally my Sisters, most often to my girlfriend.

Also, it's something I don't really say to women older than me and my term of affection for them is "wench".
