I am not familiar with US Employment Law but I speak from what little I know and rationale really.....
I believe that your line manager nor the organisation you work for have the right to force you to cancel your CS account. Okay, you were on CS during working hours when you shouldn't have been. They are entitled to reprimand you, and take whatever steps their policies dictate, whether that be suspension, a verbal warning or a more official written warning or maybe even termination of your employment, depending on the rules.
Your CS account is your personal and private privledge.
If you don't have a computer at home, either get one, visit an Internet Cafe or the local Library should have internet access for the public.
Quite right! I agree with pretty much all of the responses, very commendable. But I have to single out greed, many of the other world's ills emanate from this in some form or another.
I probably have done in my youth. Now? With maturity should come a certain amount of composure/dignity. I'd have to pick myself, dust myself off and get on with my life....
Whilst its not a great idea to appear too eager as men don't seem to like women that are too dependent/clingy, I wouldn't intentionally make someone wait as part of a battle of wits. Its a form of manipulation and, in turn, often takes choices/decisions away from them which isn't fair.
Besides, would you then blame them for not knowing where they are up to with you?!
My fella had different hair, was a different weight and clean-shaven. It didn't suit him. He is now slimmer, short hair and has a goatee beard. He looks very different.
If I hadn't given him a chance, based on him as a person (not his looks), I'd never have known what a fab guy he is!
Okay, to be honest.... when my fella contacted me, he didn't have the most flattering or inspiring pic one would've thought.
He was from my original neck of the woods, he made me laugh and he was interesting. We had the same sense of humour but there were many differences that I found most refreshing.
I gave him chance, though it was a close call. The rest is history, as they say. He turned out to be the most amazing man I have ever met, the like of which I have never known.
So..... I am not very photogenic, the camera HATES me, truly!! It often pays to give someone a chance and not base everything on just a pic!
Does that answer your question?
BTW.... weren't you asking earlier if you were thought to be posting too many polls?!
I sometimes listen to Italian music but I am not familiar with Spanish music, no. I believe it is fiery and passionate. I would love to learn more, can you enlighten me perhaps?
Pat, wanting someone's company, longing to be with them, just have their prescence is not dependency, love.
I am really wanting my fella to be here right now, I have to wait til Weds.
BUT.... if you feel that you that you would be destroyed and your life would be over without them (different from "feeling" that is the case, of course).... yes, dependency, in my view.
I enjoy a good banter, Robert, as you must well know. As you acknowledge the tone of a post can easily be mis-interpreted, surely the onus is on you to make sure there is a clear understanding?
Let's just leave it, shall we..... best of luck to you!
