RE: it amazes me how many people on here that do no believe in God

confused What??!! uh oh help I think you'll find there is VERY MUCH in between, love!! In fact, that statement sounds like a deliberate attempt to be insulting...?

And.... why are you amazed?! dunno This is a very diverse site and most welcome that. Being religious or believing in some form of "diety" is NOT part of the criteria for joining the site. If you have a problem with that, there are many religious/Christian orientated dating sites out there, I suggest you try them...?

RE: Do you think Michael Phelps is very HOT?

Nope, he doesn't do anything for me.... wave

RE: wHAT DO YOU DRIVE AND HOW....

Ferrari?! Now yer talking.... my fave! I even like the old models, in particular the 308GTB (with Targa top, of course). Otherwise, I would opt for an Aston Martin DB9 or the F-type....

RE: wHAT DO YOU DRIVE AND HOW....

Well, the car I have was featured on Top Gear..... snooty

No, sadly, it wasn't the Zonda, Porsche, Lamborghini or Lotus. But how do I drive it? Well, I'm a bit of a whizz when I hit "Gambon Corner"... better believe it, baby!!

Its so easy to take a lot for granted so thanks for your contributions, guys and gals...... and, more importantly, your recognition.

Very much appreciated!

RE: Paid dating sites

Ray is correct, soliciting of other sites is not permissible. It would've been easy enough to e-mail the OP with your suggestion, would it not?!

To the OP..... paid membership of a dating site will not guarantee any less rejection, my friend. That is just LIFE, I'm afraid. Personally, I have been unimpressed with the majority of them. Why not get to know folk here on the Forums, and they get to know you?

Best of luck to you! handshake

Harry Patch - Remembering All Those Like Him...?

Harry Patch, the last surviving British veteran of the First World War died recently at age 111. His funeral is today at Wells Cathedral in Somerset, UK.

For those like him, fighting in a war deemed "the war to end all wars", many were not so lucky.

And so, it still goes on......

Forever grateful to those who gave such a lot, including their lives, for us to continue to live in freedom.....

And to those who continue to do so...

LEST WE FORGET?!

RE: Have u ever try mud / clay baths ?

Can't say I have, no.

My present bath is fibre-glass, would love an enamelled bath, but always open to innovative ideas....

RE: Do you believe in the death penalty?

Well, the process in place is a democratic one. The only way to change it would be democratically. Why is one acceptable and not the other? Duuhhh... confused
doh

Why leave it at just people committing crimes? I'm sure there's much to be said for some kind of penalty being afforded to those with the mental agility of, say, a soup-spoon?!! Mmmmm.... would get MY vote.

Ohhh yeah..... VOTE = DEMOCRACY

Pathetic!!

RE: Who is ready to come visit Arizona?

Would love to!! Can't just right now but always hoped to visit Arizona one day.
applause

I wouldn't have to wear cowboy boots, would I?! uh oh

RE: Do you believe in the death penalty?

Indeed! No doubt, that is why we have a judicial process in place whereby the punishment befits the crime, regardless of WHO has committed it? A system that is in no way perfect but strives to be as fair and equal as is possible?

thumbs up

RE: If you could have your favourite drink

Can I ask..... what is a Duck Blind? dunno

RE: threads~does the Op own a thread?? do they have the right to direct people around in it??

Indeed!! thumbs up Its human nature, to an extent. Its worth bearing in mind that here on the Forums, just as with many things in life, its about egos. Some feel they need to make their presence felt, in whatever way they are able..... n'est pas?!

For those who DON'T feel its that significant in their lives, best just to take it all with a pinch of salt, perhaps?

RE: If you could have your favourite drink

Wow!!! Is there enough to share, per chance?! batting

Buono gusto!! wine

RE: threads~does the Op own a thread?? do they have the right to direct people around in it??

As I recall, Admin have clarified this on numerous occasions. No thread creator owns the thread, controls how it is directed or who participates, and how. Ownership is purely and totally that of the site owners and, as such, have the right to remove what they wish.

Hence, the idiot that wrote to me and told me to stay off the Forums as I was spoiling his enjoyment....... tongue
