And.... why are you amazed?! This is a very diverse site and most welcome that. Being religious or believing in some form of "diety" is NOT part of the criteria for joining the site. If you have a problem with that, there are many religious/Christian orientated dating sites out there, I suggest you try them...?

To the OP..... paid membership of a dating site will not guarantee any less rejection, my friend. That is just LIFE, I'm afraid. Personally, I have been unimpressed with the majority of them. Why not get to know folk here on the Forums, and they get to know you?

Harry Patch - Remembering All Those Like Him...?

Harry Patch, the last surviving British veteran of the First World War died recently at age 111. His funeral is today at Wells Cathedral in Somerset, UK.

For those like him, fighting in a war deemed "the war to end all wars", many were not so lucky.

And so, it still goes on......

Forever grateful to those who gave such a lot, including their lives, for us to continue to live in freedom.....

And to those who continue to do so...

Why leave it at just people committing crimes? I'm sure there's much to be said for some kind of penalty being afforded to those with the mental agility of, say, a soup-spoon?!! Mmmmm.... would get MY vote.

Indeed! No doubt, that is why we have a judicial process in place whereby the punishment befits the crime, regardless of WHO has committed it? A system that is in no way perfect but strives to be as fair and equal as is possible?

As I recall, Admin have clarified this on numerous occasions. No thread creator owns the thread, controls how it is directed or who participates, and how. Ownership is purely and totally that of the site owners and, as such, have the right to remove what they wish.

Hence, the idiot that wrote to me and told me to stay off the Forums as I was spoiling his enjoyment.......


The site is free, after all....?
