Yes i beleive everything good or bad happens for a reason.. It makes a stronger and makes us who we are... If everything thing was handed to us and always good happens would be such a boring life..we wouldnt strive to be and do better..
I did move...went to North Carolina and got Married..stayed for 6 months and both moved back here to Canada..We both me on here in 2007..been married nearly 3 years..
Okay let me tell you my situation.. Met my Husband here in 2007.. Moved to North Carolina to be with him.. And he supported me and my child.. You have to get a working permit to be able to work and it takes time..YOu have to get an LMO too..which takes time..
Then we moved back here to Canada... If you do a Family Class.. Then you are sponsering that person.. And if they lose their job before getting permanent resident then you are solely responsible to put a roof over his head..clothes..food and etc..but you cannot be getting any government assistant or you cannot sponser them..
His PR will be in in a couple of months so that is why we didnt spend out more money to extend his stay plus another working permit.. I say if that person wants you to move..then they should be willing and able to support that person until things happen..
And also you cannot cross the border with more then 10000 dollars we been through this..
