Me too i say stop when these thoughts are eating me. Then, to change your mind, there is nothing better than a good walk, talk with a good friend, do sport, work, learning something new, take care of somebody around, interest myself to a nice book or movie etc.. Our mind has to be disciplined because if not, you will be sick, and it woudn't be nice for yourself and your Mother...By the way, i have been through all this and i actually know exactly how you feel. Hey why not try the french wines ? they are well known for travelling very well and you can keep them a long time in a cellar. As i am living in the area of Bordeaux i would tell you our vineyards are the best, lol , but that would be some wrong, there are so many from north to south, east to west, all regions are great producers. It all depends on your tastes and your needs (to accompany special meals etc)... at your service to give you some infos about it..

I have read your previous posts about planting trees, it's even the best moment to plant them, here we have a saying about Saint Catherine's Day (25th november) ... à la sainte catherine, tout arbre prend racine.. means they get strong roots .. after it's dangerous, too cold.. don't forget to put a lot of straw to keep them warm for their first winter.
