gays and club/dance music-thats the market that embraced her
record companies market to whomever the target audience shows themselves to be- according to research - people lose jobs at these companies by assuming and targeting w/o proper research if the artist they are responsible for pimping meets a fail due to overlooking the process
to have an opinion is an opinion- we all have em so ya dont like her music- so what?
to ridicule someone for an anomaly from their birth? thats something else entirely
how about if you want to have a civil conversation about this you start a thread rather than insist she turn her topic to your liking?

i dont think its okay to insist on such a conversation when the thread was simply made to honor and express care for someone she cared about that died.

artists sometimes really feel dedicated to a certain 'cause'. gagas cause has escaped you maybe because you have decided to put her in a box and have never listened to her words in -say an interview setting..?
her message is very very positive and i admire her- she has stood up against bullying- shining a light on that issue that has become extremely dangerous
she is in no way marketed to children tho many children do feel disenfranchised and she seeks to support all folks that might feel like they dont fit in- from fat to gay to skinny to whatever that causes us to feel not good enough in some way- she encourages people to embrace who they are and be all that they can be-that who they are is absolutely ok
to me thats a positive message
children are not at gaga concerts- not in any noticeable numbers-thats just untrue
dying is a part of living and i think sometimes we extend emotion over a space where no one 'is' -meaning they are already moved on to whatevers next but we sort of keep them here from our need
its not all that can get out of the way and participate in what is right now
