cuz i dont- but gosh sometimes things escalate even before we realize it and then maybe we regret it
i mean no one is perfect-
like no one here had ever said a cross word to a stranger in the grocery line or hollered at a driver in traffic and it escalates and then ya think 'whoa how did i get into this?--oops!'
he could have nipped it in the bud by just simply saying or doing any little thing- he never had to speak a word and he could have diffused the situation
lots of places here and in the EU dont have that sort of structure- nonetheless that wasnt the point point is there was some option between what he did and what he could have done- many options to participate in SOME way
the point was never who spends how much time but that it has always been the case that those that spend all day almost every day are elevated to a place of distinction and they always become abusive and always attract syncophants that allow the abusive rude insulting behavior of the one who reigns through being the most present
the names and faces change but the dynamics always repeat
was a statement on dynamics nothing personal - always nice to have a personal comment said in public tho
some people call the one standing up to them- a bully- aggressive
when their plan is to batter you down and you dont kneel they find a way to make you the bad guy- pretend you are the agreesor- puh-lease
and screw that guy

principles dont change based on who is behaving badly he didnt have to make a scene or even say a word to the other party- just be a friend to some effing degree
there is no 3 sides to a story when you are standing right there with the story unfolding- you have eyes and wrong is wrong

i have been in the same situation and my friend may have disagreed with me but at least the situation was acknowledged for chrissakes

anyway bogey yes and in many cases the leaders arent even manipulators on purpose but just fulfilling their own need and it is the needy that respond to it and are manipulated into conforming to a social evolution- or might i say de-volution

it is quite easy to know how much time someone spends here click view posts and all posts are time stamped
when you see the stamps steady from 8 am to 10 pm and again from 1 am to 3 am its clear the amount of time they spend here
i mean are folks still in denial about how much time they or their 'friends' spend on CS?
when forum first opened i was here hours at a time- but i was also bedridden and later wheelchair bound/housebound for the first 2 years i was a forum member... so i am not speculating-- i have experienced and come to recognize some of the dynamics that go on in a group of anonymous folks online
and i find them a disappointment and waste of an awesome opportunity to share with people across the globe
