i still say its irresponsible when we have all the info availability to check its validity FIRST before 'helping'
there is no need or excuse for 'taking the chance' to help when we can remove chance and verify first... but then im rigid

actually i think the post was a copy paste of an original post that this OP was just trying to 'get out there'

i dont think this or the other thread were posted by actual individuals involved although they didnt do the best job in being clear

i think people are trying to help from their hearts but this is how internet hoaxes and some viruses are introduced

by duping the public

that is entertainment for some people

people get on mailing lists in these cases and then those addresses are used as vehicles for viruses

ive been online since 91

these may well be well meaning people taking up a cause they see as needing support

i am a well meaning people doing a bit of research BEFORE posting it and reposting it "to help" as whipping up a frenzy over a hoax is not helpful to anyone, and could distract from time spent on actual situations needing support


tho some see it as mean it is another and different way of "helping".... thats just how i roll

it really bothers me that society at large just wants to pretend there is no need for boundaries

J i dont make the rules
i just am not uncomfortable following them

i am super liberal but some boundaries are in place because its been proven they are appropriate

a teacher giving out there their email is common today.

schools have email systems set up so a parent can see the childs grade and any teacher notes at any time.

dating a childs teacher is inappropriate while they are the childs teacher and i would bet it would be against terms of employment for the teacher.

of course everyone else is being cute and encouraging but what i am stating are facts

it may be reading something into the situation incorrectly that you exchanged emails

and it is against policy for teachers to date parents- for good reason

and whether we agree with the reasons or not-policy is policy and no one wants to lose their job
and if a man has no integrity or worry about violating an agreement i wouldnt consider him a good bet on a personal level
