Yes, a lot of Brits do leave, but that is nothing new. They have been settling in many different countries for hundreds of years for various reasons. People from other countries also re-locate, again for various different reasons. Granted there are those that have left because they do not like there own countries political policies, immigration ect but anyone can make figures suit there own political agenda. I left the UK for non of those reasons as I suspect many others did.
Perhaps he feels inferior when he meets a successful and intelligent woman. Maybe he tries to impress them and they see straight through him In my opinion in any relationship a natural balance will occur if each partner accept and indeed embrace the skills and abilities of the other without trying to force it. After all a relationship should be based on love, trust and openness. It is not a case of who can "out do" the other. I am a strong positive man and have dated intelligent, successful women and at no time has this ever been an issue. They looked up to me and I looked up to them for different reasons.
