With all the best intentions in the world, there are many countries that just cannot afford to take them in or supply the infrastructure to support them for the rest of there lives. Hospitals, schools, accommodation ect doesn't come cheap and many countries cannot afford it for there own people. What happens when these people come of pensionable age and have not paid into the system? The cost is going to be very high. Perhaps, if and when things are sorted, it would be better for countries to help set up and rebuild the infrastructure, create work ect back in Syria and Iraq, encouraging the people to go back and get there country together. Other countries have had to do it, so why not these countries? In the long term it would be far more productive, help bring a nation back together again and be far cheaper for everyone involved. But it needs to be done in a professional way, with controls, and refugees sent back to work in there own country.
