Thanks everyone for the well-wishes. Joli just left for the airport and it's time for me to get to work.

I didn't want her to leave, and I'm a little broken-up right now. I'll tune in tonight to see what she posts here once she's safely home.

Well, this is the final night of Joli's visit, and I want to say that I'm going to miss her every day until she comes back. Of course, we'll be talking on the phone and online, but I've really enjoyed my time in person with her and I can't wait until we're together for good.

I wish everyone the same success that we have found. Be good to each other. That will be a great start.

I would be furious joel. Talk about a serious invasion of privacy. But then, they can triangulate on your cell's SIM card, on or off, so, its just a matter of degree.

I'm not going to debate morality with you. People's bodies are their own, and neither you, nor anyone else, should have the right to tell others what to do with it. If they want to risk your idea of hell, what business is it of yours?

Does your morality make you better than a gay man or a homeless teen-age mother placed there by an abusive father? Obviously you think it does, because you think you should have the right to legislate their behavior based on what you think.

Is this any different than a socialist thinking he's better than you and legislating what you should do with your money? Only in context. Its still and elitist attitude and contrary to the principles of civil liberty.

According to Powell: Powell believes that a reduction in US forces will have to be accompanied by talks with Syria and Iran. “You have to talk to the people you dislike most in this dangerous world.” -

Granted it's an old source, but I doubt his opinion has changed.

I'm thinking maybe Obama is taking this route, at least for the time being. Get this, I'm not an Obama fanatic, but up until the time Powell allowed politics to destroy his credibility, I was a Powell fan.

I still like him, and think he's a brilliant general, but maybe because of that not the best politician. One I can respect as easily as I can forgive the other, especially in these modern times, when soldiers are quite often not given the respect they're due.

I think it rather is on track indirectly. Humanity must and will find a way to relieve the pressure of population vs. resources in the closed system that is Earth. Whether that means eugenics or not is up to your own view of the future. Recycling our coke cans isn't going to be enough.
