I believe it is important to know because we judge some people's behaviour without knowning WHY they behave a certain way. There could be many reasons and having Aspserger's may be one reason like it is with TENANG here.

WHAT STRENGTHS ARE COMMON TO ADULTS WITH ASPERGER’S SYNDROME? Adults with Aspergers have many strengths often overlooked. Adults with Asperger’s Syndrome have many strengths often overlooked. Asperger’s Syndrome is NOT all about being defective, abnormal or impaired. It’s about having differences. Adults with Aspergers have an alternate way of seeing things and their solutions to life’s challenges are distinctive, not wrong.
Here is a list of positive traits that are characteristic of adults with Aspergers.
They are usually loyal and dependable. Competing to get ahead is less important than solving problems and meeting challenges. Conscientiousness, faithfulness and devotion to duty matter more than ambition, especially if that ambition would cause others to suffer. Adults with Aspergers pursue ideas they believe in without being deterred by what others say. They are not easily swayed by others’ opinions, nor to they give up because someone tries to convince them otherwise. They are good at recognizing patterns and in classifying things. They are comfortable with order, precision and categorization, which make them successful in following rules, allocating resources and solving problems. They tend to be sincere, positive and genuine, which make them loyal and dependable friends. Speaking their minds regardless of the social context is true of many adults with Aspergers. They are much more interested in someone’s skills and expertise than whether that person is viewed favorably by others. Adults with Aspergers are especially good at noting and recalling details. They are helpful at work that requires knowledge of facts, details, and memory. They are often exceptional at the recall of details forgotten or disregarded by others. They have a passion for gathering and cataloging information on a topic of interest. An acute sensitivity to specific sensory experiences and stimuli, including touch, vision, and smell is common and having such unusual sensory experiences gives them a different perspective on the world. Adults with Aspergers tend to be trusting of others, even charmingly naïve. They are compassionate and caring, and many maintain the belief in the possibility of positive relationships. They are often direct, speak their mind and are honest. Many have a strong sense of social justice. Because they don’t mind being alone, they are often willing to engage in solitary work that others avoid, which puts them in the position of making tremendous contributions at work and school. They are able to comprehend multiple levels of meanings of words and ideas and can form connections that others miss. They are persistent, and when they set their minds to something or make a promise they can usually be trusted to follow through. Relationships with someone who has Aspergers tends to be free from bias and discrimination based on race, gender, age or other differences. They judge people based on their behavior not the color of their skin, socioeconomic status or political influence. They are not inclined to be bullies, con artists or social manipulators. Adults with Aspergers, are a varied group of people, on the whole bright, funny, articulate, caring, logical, honest, persistent, and hard-working, who happen to think and behave a bit differently.
They are an adaptable collection of individuals who have found ways to survive in a world that expects different conduct, values and demeanor. They have found niches, support systems, compensatory ways of behaving and communities of like-minded individuals who value them for their special gifts. They have also found ways to accommodate to the broader society’s expectations.
Adults with Aspergers are, in many ways, models for what can be accomplished without having the normal blueprint for success. After all, it’s not who you are that matters but what you’re willing to do.

Famed physicist Stephen Hawking died at age 76 on Tuesday. Though his children issued a statement, his ex-wife, Jane Wilde, did not immediately speak out. Previously, however, she opened up in 2014 when The Theory of Everything, a bio-pic about Hawking’s life, was released in theaters.
Hawking brought science to the masses when his book, A Brief History of Time, was published in 1988—but that’s when things became complicated for his family. They had three children together: Lucy, Timothy and Robert.
“I rather felt that the family had been left behind,” she told Radio Times in 2014, according to the Independent. “To me, Stephen was my husband and the father of my children; one does not say to one’s husband, ‘Oh, you’re so clever! I must worship the ground under your feet, or in this case, wheels.’ I found this kind of sycophantic attitude—the attitude adopted by so many people around Stephen—exceptionally frustrating and, of course, it grew a lot worse when we finally had to engage carers.”
I never knew he was married and had three children ............R.I.P. Mr. Hawkins

Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish showed that she’s seriously savvy with money at the 2018 Oscars last night.
The breakout star of Girls Trip did what many considered unthinkable: She wore a dress that she’s worn before—not once but twice.
Last November, Haddish became the first black female comedian to host “Saturday Night Live.” She kicked off the show in a stunning white Alexander McQueen dress that she’d worn previously to the Girls Trip premiere. The dress cost Haddish $4,000, she explained, and she was absolutely going to get the most use out of it possible, fashion faux pas or not.
“I don’t give a dang about no taboo. I spent a lot of money on this dress. This dress cost way more than my mortgage. This a Alexander McQueen, OK?” Haddish said in her monologue.
On the first day, she sadly packed her belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases. On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things. On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining-room table, by candle-light; she put on some soft background music, and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar, and a bottle of spring-water.
When she'd finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimps dipped in caviar into the hollow center of the curtain rods. She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.
On the fourth day, the husband came back with his new girlfriend, and at first all was bliss. Then, slowly, the house began to smell. They tried everything; cleaning, mopping, and airing-out the place. Vents were checked for dead rodents, and carpets were steam cleaned.
Air fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought into set off gas canisters, during which time the two had to move out for a few days, and in the end they even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting. Nothing worked! People stopped coming over to visit.. Repairmen refused to work in the house. The maid quit.
Finally, they couldn't take the stench any longer, and decided they had to move, but a month later - even though they'd cut their price in half - they couldn't find a buyer for such a stinky house. Word got out, and eventually even the local realtors refused to return their calls. Finally, unable to wait any longer for a purchaser, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place.
Then the ex-wife called the man and asked how things were going. He told her the saga of the rotting house. She listened politely and said that she missed her old home terribly and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for having the house. Knowing she could have no idea how bad the smell really was, he agreed on a price that was only 1/10th of what the house had been worth... but only if she would sign the papers that very day.
She agreed, and within two hours his lawyers delivered the completed paperwork. A week later the man and his girlfriend stood smiling as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home ..... and to spite the ex-wife, they even took the curtain rods!
