MONTREAL — In a Canadian medical first, surgeons at Montreal’s Maisonneuve-Rosemont hospital announced Wednesday they’d performed a face transplant, giving a badly disfigured Quebec man a second lease on life.

Hospital officials detailed last May’s complex and risky 30-hour procedure involving Maurice Desjardins, who at 64 was described as the world’s oldest recipient of such a transplant.

A team led by plastic surgeon Dr. Daniel Borsuk was part of the first Canadian attempt at the surgery, which has been performed about 40 times worldwide since 2005.

Borsuk said there was no other option for Desjardins, who’d been living in constant pain and isolation despite five reconstructive surgeries since a hunting accident in 2011 left him without his jaw, nose and teeth.
“Imagine when you’re suffering in silence at home for years and you don’t leave your house as much as you’d like to, and you’re sleeping in a separate room because of the sound of the tracheostomy (opening in the trachea),” said Borsuk, who also teaches at Universite de Montreal.

“You’re living this very difficult existence. Then, overnight essentially, you get a second lease on life.”

Desjardins came to see Borsuk in Montreal with a few requests: to be able to breathe properly, speak properly and to have a nose, lips, jaws and teeth.

Borsuk said Desjardins also wanted to be able to walk outside with his granddaughter without people staring at his disfigurement.

The patient was carefully vetted for years before the procedure.

“We put him through the wringer in terms of tests,” Borsuk said. “We wanted to make sure this guy was in good health … his needs were there, there was no other option for him, and there was no other chance of him having a normal life.”

She has some very strange and weird believes and I believe she is still a JW.
It is very difficult to get their teachings out of your mind unfortunately.
Her writings all point to the teachings of JW.
When I let her know what I thought, she did not deny it anyway, it is her choice right?

We emailed and I asked her pointblank are you a JW, she said that she went by the Holy Spirit, so not giving me a direct answer.
Her next email talked about the Watchtower the JW magazine, so that did it for me
I stopped her than as he has some strange and weird ideas about the Lord and the Bible

What Salvation is Not
Before clarifying salvation in biblical terms, it will be helpful to look at ways of "salvation" that are not in line with Christian theology. Probably the most common approach is works-based. As the name suggests, this approach to salvation relies on human works and what we can do in order to save ourselves. But when it comes to salvation Christianity is Savior-centered, not self-centered: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV). Good works are the natural outcome of following salvation through Christ.

Neither is salvation universal, meaning that not everyone will be saved. This does not mean that God does not love everyone. Indeed, He "wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4 NIV). But only Christ is "the way and the truth and the life" (John 14:6 NIV).

Salvation is not found in legalism, either. Strict adherence to a list of do's and don'ts is not what Christian salvation is about. Romans 3:20 reads, "no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin." We all "fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 NIV).

The Gospel is simple, it makes no differents if you understand the Trinity.

I’ve never heard God named Yhvh. Is this abbreviated for Yahweh? And so Jesus Christ is the only Begotten son Of God whose brothers are in hell too, including Satan (a.k.a Lucifer)

No one is in hell, not until after the great tribulation and the judgement will some go to hell and be judged

Can you explain the Trinity?
The following clearly and briefly explains the Trinity...three gods or one?
You and I live in a three-dimensional world. All physical objects have a certain height, width, and depth. One person can look like someone else, or behave like someone else, or even sound like someone else. But a person cannot actually be the same as another person. They are distinct individuals.

God, however, lives without the limitations of a three-dimensional universe. He is spirit. And he is infinitely more complex than we are.

That is why Jesus the Son can be different from the Father. And, yet the same.

The Bible clearly speaks of: God the Son, God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit. But emphasizes that there is only ONE God.

If we were to use math, it would not be, 1+1+1=3. It would be 1x1x1=1. God is a triune God.

Thus the term: "Tri" meaning three, and "Unity" meaning one, Tri+Unity = Trinity. It is a way of acknowledging what the Bible reveals to us about God, that God is yet three "Persons" who have the same essence of deity.

Some have tried to give human illustrations for the Trinity, such as H2O being water, ice and steam (all different forms, but all are H2O). Another illustration would be the sun. From it we receive light, heat and radiation. Three distinct aspects, but only one sun.

No illustration is going to be perfect.

But from the very beginning we see God as a Trinity. In the book of Genesis, the first book in the Bible, God says, "Let us make man in our image…male and female he created them."1 You see here a mixture of plural and singular pronouns.

When Moses asked God for his name, God replied, "I am" - eternally existing.

Jesus used the same phrase numerous times.
"I am the light of the world..."
"I am the bread of life..."
"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Abraham is someone mentioned in Genesis, thousands of years before Jesus came to earth. Yet, Jesus said of himself, "Before Abraham was born, I am." The Jews understood fully what Jesus was saying because they picked up stones to kill him for "blasphemy" - claiming to be God.2 Jesus has always existed.

This came up time and time again. Jesus was so clear about his unique relationship with the Father. This is why, “the Jewish leaders tried all the harder to find a way to kill him. For he not only broke the Sabbath, he called God his Father, thereby making himself equal with God.”3

For all of eternity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have always been in relationship and communication with each other, yet not as three gods…as one God.

This answers the question:
