Then let the Legislation go thru the proper channels, ie Congress and Senate and then be signed by the President as it is supposed to be done. Not by Executive Order.

There is much more as risk for the future that we are concerned about and upholding the Constitution is the main concern.

You must gain understanding on laws and how they work. Once a Bill becomes Law, it then holds prescidence to pass other Laws in the Future. It won't just stop with only 1 Law being passed.

For one thing, these Laws must be set in place at the STATE level, NOT Federal, unless the People request it and it goes before the House and Congress.

There is a method to the madness and it needs to follow suite.

In lieu of the discussion of whether or not the United States is under a Tyranical Government, let us investigate by viewing the Declaration of Independence posted above in 2 parts.

Tyranical charges are described therein so... do we see any of the same behaviors happening today? Is our President acting accordingly?

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.
He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.

I do not know about the others, but I'm not scared at all. I do not feel I need to be armed to walk around to feel safe.

I feel I need to be armed to walk around to keep OTHERS safe.
I was in Law Enforcement once upon a time and have been through extensive training. I also got my first gun for my 8th Birthday. Used to hunt all the time.

Lots of snakes in the grass around these parts. You never know when you might need one.

Most folks around here have their own guns but they do not always carry them around with them. It's good to know you've got your neighbors back or he's got yours. It's part of lovin one another here in Oklahoma.

I believe that armed citizens make a great crime deterant. The bad guys will know that there is a chance that someone around them just may be armed, especially here in Oklahoma where we just passed Right to Carry.

Defending ones self and others is Not an act of VIOLENCE joyaepace.

Excellent points ARTGOR.

These are the points we are trying to make but those suffering from OSD refuse to hear or look at. They just keep repeating the monolog MSM has taught them.

I have posted threads in the past on Psychotropic Drugging, Deaths by Doctors and prescribed medications, Government Killings, Aspertame, Monsanto, and Chemtrails to name a few. Used to be that the majority were the OSDers in the threads. Now, many here are awake and we enjoy discussing these subjects together.

A ban on leaving the house wouldn't be too bad if I can have my groceries delivered. I wouldn't have to leave CS.

Yes! In all 3 instances told of on this video, people protected their lives and property with their guns.

The Oklahoma mom did well and said she will do it again if anyone tries to bring harm to her or her son.

I love the meeting of the minds. I believe that through FORUM participation, we are able to know much more about people than what little is said on a profile.

And many minds I pray for as so many are bound and need to experience FREEDOM of Thinking for themselves.

Hey tomcat... Thanks so much for sharing this info here on page 11 of this thread. Also for the info in your following post re: U.S. debts. People need to know this.

We grew up being told that we give tons of money to help other nations, but that was only one side of the coin. They failed to mention that we BORROW so much! Perhaps we give so much cos we're really repaying a LOAN??!!!

I have known of our debt to China for quite a few years when I was informed by a friend in New Zealand about it. He told me of New Zealand's debt to China and many other countries are in debt to China. I did some research and China would practically own the World if it called in it's debtors.

I remember while watching the Health Care Debates on C-SPAN everyday, Montana Senator Max Baucauss of the Financial Comittee told that we absolutely MUST vote for the Bill or the country would be in immediate Grave Danger of a disaster as we would Default on our loans. I thought at the time, perhaps China has threatened us to do something very bad if we Default?

Strange that when talking about going off the fisical cliff, they are talking this same kind of talk. It's a manipulation tactic they use to get their way. They instill FEAR to get the vote. If they dont get the vote, Obummer writes and Executive Order and passes it anyway.

I want to share an article I read last night. I will follow this posting with it.

During the late ’70s, President Jimmy Carter and his inner circle determined to push through comprehensive new federal gun-control legislation. They decided the best way to grease the congressional skids would be to have a massive scientific study conducted which, in the end, would proclaim that gun-control laws were effective in reducing crime.

So the Carter folks handed out a major gun-control research grant to University of Massachusetts sociology professor James D. Wright and his colleagues Peter Rossi and Kathleen Daly. They spent four years and lots of tax dollars to produce what would be the most comprehensive, critical study of gun control ever undertaken. In 1981, they published the results of their research – an exhaustive, three-volume work titled “Under the Gun.”

There was only one problem.

Their findings, summarized starkly by co-author Wright, were that “Gun control laws do not reduce crime.”

This was a very interesting read!!!

I have told of the vision I had in 1970, several times in the past.
I saw a Communist takeover of our country. American citizens were in prison camps here in the U.S. saying, "How did this happen? This is America, this can't happen here". But you know what? It DID happen here. My vision was for a future time. I was only 15 when I had it. Now, the stage is set and I see my vision comming into play.

Do not be caught off guard. It will happen. Wake up and Be Ready.

I am not trying to instill Fear as some will accuse me of doing this. I am trying to prepare you for things to come. This is why I post the articles I have posted here for the past 8 years.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) thinks Obama's gun control plans, especially the parts Obama thinks he can activate strictly via executive power, must be stopped, and has announced plans to try to stop them legislatively.



As published by Talking Points Memo, (Posted in my next Comment) are his intentions in what he calls the "Separation of Powers Restoration and Second Amendment Protection Act."

Paul says his legislation will declare that "Any executive order by President Obama infringing on the Second Amendment rights of all Americans would be declared null and void" and "would prohibit federal funds to implement President Obama's executive orders impacting the 2nd Amendment."

The prospective bill would also allow congressmen, state and local governments, and private persons to sue over such executive orders.

Politico has an interesting analysis arguing that, contra his generally understood policy in his first term of starting only political fights he can win, Obama might be prepared to crash and burn politically on principle on this gun issue, strongarming Senate Democrats to use political capital on possibly damaging (to their prospects, not considering their damage to American liberties, which will be more considerable) legislation that will surely die in the GOP-controlled House. The article says this is because of his deep emotional reaction to Sandy Hook -- and does not point out that no reasonable person could expect any of Obama's proposals to have stopped that from happening.

I am an American Patriot and I will stand for my country and it's Constitution and do what it says... it tells me and my fellow Patriots to take up arms and overthrow our Government if it should impose TYRANNY on the people! We would be unable to do so if we are unarmed. We will march forward as an ARMED Militia and fight for the Freedom our forefathers fought and died for.

They are WRONG to use the compassionate heartstrings of people to accomplish their agenda in disarming Americans thus disolving the Militia.

Thousands of gun owners across America have had enough of the Obama administration’s attack on the Second Amendment – and they’re preparing to take their concerns to the capitols in at least 47 states this Saturday at 12 p.m.

Texan Eric Reed, founder and national coordinator of the “Guns Across America” rallies, told WND he’s irritated about all the talk of new gun-control regulations and overreach by the federal government in violation of our Second Amendment rights.

“I was trying to figure out why people weren’t being more proactive about this, Reed said. “Then I realized I’m part of the problem. It takes somebody to stand up and say, ‘Hey, we’re not going to accept this. We’re against it.’

“We want Americans who feel the same way to come out. We want to stand up, be united and get our point across.”
