Hidden Profiles

I like that idea jac. I think that forum posters should have access to each other.

Sometimes, I like to send a flower to another poster telling them I like what they posted or an ecard expressing sympathy if someone is going through difficulties, or even an email of gratitude and understanding.

You could be missing out on receiving a Blessing if your profile is hidden and we can not contact you.

Just something I think is worth consideration by those who hide.

Hidden Profiles

I am currious...

I have noticed that many of those who post in the forums, hide their profile when they are not online.

Why do you do this?

This prevents people from viewing your profile so they can click to see what you have been posting in the forums, or send you an email or a flower, or simply reading your profile to see what you are all about.

Scammers will not be an acceptable answer as I have noted that most of the time, they select their victims from the who's online now status.

Please, tell us why.

RE: Ex-NPR Hill reporter: Lied to daily

Absolutely the TRUTH.
I have the book and have read it...
"Truth and Duty: The Press, the President, and the Privilege of Power" by Mary Mapes.

They black balled her Big Time!
She released the story on Abu-Garibe and told the truth about Bush being AWOL from the USAF. She tells ALL in her book.

She tells of the controll of the media and how NBC let her go, due to pressure from the owners, the Guild who Owns the Media. They not only let her go, but they defamed her character, harrassed her family and did everything but kill her physically. It was a nightmare for her.

I sympathize with those in the Press who stick to their guns, despite what can be done to them. Praise God for those who believe in Truth and the Freedom to report it! Their lives are truely in danger.

RE: DHS Rounding up Veterans, Throwing them in Mental institutions

Here is a video from the attorney, John Whitehead.

Wal-Mart to Sell Monsanto's GE Sweet Corn

When I was a truck driver, I hauled Strawberries for Driscoll out of Gonzales, California.

Once, while waiting for the load, they gave me a tour of the cooler.
All the pallets of strawberries were covered with huge plastic bags. The berries were "gassed" so they would ripen.

I have seen this done with Bananas too. They arrive in Galvaston, Texas from Guatamala, very green in the boxes. They are gassed then shipped on the trucks. One of the plant managers was a friend of mine. He would give me boxes of bannanas that had not been gassed. He said to put them in a paper bag. Bananas put off their own gas and will ripen in the bag.

They also gas Tomatoes, especially those real pretty red "vine ripe" with the vines still attached. I picked those up in San Diego, California.

This is why the Cancer rate is so high. The chemicals in the foods we eat!!!

RE: Ex-NPR Hill reporter: Lied to daily

I hear her!

I said, I hear her!!!!!

It's good for her that she still has her Freedom and she is no longer tied to the guild to report what and how they tell her to report.

Being a puppet reporter is the only way for advancement in the controlled field of MSM.

I would have a desire that Ms. Seabrook would watch Congress meetings and let us hear from her heart, from HER point of view. She is frustrated because she feels Repressed and rightfully so.
I imagine she will probably sit down for awhile and write a book, exposing the drawbacks and control in journalism like so many who have gone before her have done.

Whatever her adventure becomes, I stand behind her choices, as a reader of the Free Press!

Kudos for her!
She's Not gonna take it anymore!!cheering cheering cheering applause applause

Wal-Mart to Sell Monsanto's GE Sweet Corn

wave If you read through the thread, you will find my instructions for removing pesticides from non-organic fruits and veggies for those who can not always buy organic. It's quite simple.

Raw Milk is very good! It's the only milk I will drink, straight from the cow at the farm. On page 1 I posted a movie you can watch if you have time. It tells everything you need to know that they know so far, about GM foods. You will learn lots from this and be able to share it with your Wiccan friends!thumbs up

Thanks for posting and it's good to see you!

RE: Gun History

I have just downloaded this Free Ebook by John R. Lott Jr.

More Guns, Less Crime
Understanding Crime and Gun Control Laws

Reviews:

"Lott turns conventional wisdom concerning violent crime and handguns on its head."
—Chicago Tribune Books

"John Lott has done the most extensive, thorough, and sophisticated study we have on the effects of loosening gun control laws. Regardless of whether one agrees with his conclusions, his work is mandatory reading for anyone who is open-minded and serious about the gun control issue. Especially fascinating is his account of the often unscrupulous reactions to his research by gun control advocates, academic critics, and the newsmedia."
—Gary Kleck, professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice,
Florida State University

"An intriguing and shocking look at crime, guns, and gun-control policy."
—Kirkus Reviews

"Armed with reams of statistics, John Lott has documented many surprising linkages between guns and crime. More Guns, Less Crime demonstrates that what is at stake is not just the right to carry arms but rather our performance in controlling a diverse array of
criminal behaviors. Perhaps most disturbing is Lott's documentation of the role of the media and academic commentators in distorting research findings that they regard as politically incorrect."
—W. Kip Viscusi, Cogan Professor of Law and director of the Program
on Empirical Legal Studies, HarvardLaw School

"This book is a refreshing, well-documented case for responsible gun ownership."
—Bookviews

"John Lott's work to uncover the truth about the costs and benefits of guns in America is as valuable as it is provocative. Too much of today's public debate over gun ownership and laws ignores the empirical evidence. Based on carefully proven facts, Professor Lott
shatters the orthodox thinking about guns and debunks the most prominent myths about gun use that dominate the policy debate. For those who are convinced that the truth matters in formulating public policy and for anyone interested in the role of guns
in our society, More Guns, Less Crime is must reading."
—Edwin Meese III, U.S. Attorney General 1985-88

"The most important book ever published about firearms policy.. .. It should be read by everyone who cares about firearms policy, which is literally a matter of life or death.
The more people who read More Guns, Less Crime, the sooner streets in every state will become safe zones for good citizens, rather than for predators."
—David B. Kopel, Chronicles

"Lott's pro-gun argument has to be examined on the merits, and its chief merit is lots of data.... If you still disagree with Lott, at least you will know what will be required to rebut a case that looks pretty near bulletproof."
—Peter Coy, Business Week

Now, Everyone from Both Sides, get your copy here!

Yes, I saw on your profile that you like to ride with your dad.
I trucked for 25 years and I took my daughter with me and home schooled her. She love it too!

I do not drive anymore. I hit two cows in the road one night and layed my Peterbilt over in the median. I have not been in a truck since. Sure do miss the money!

Hope you meet lots of new friends!
