RE: How MANY concurrent Wives should a Man be LEGALLY ALLOWED?

thumbs up Correct Answer, Conrad!applause

According to the Bible, a man could have as many wives as he could afford. Having many wives showed a mans wealth.

Solomon, King David's son, was the wealthiest man.
He had 700 wives and 300 concubines!wow

Newt Gingrich... Know The Truth!

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Drudge Report began teasing political reporters Wednesday that a network's holding a "bombshell campaign interview." And soon, Drudge revealed that the network in question, ABC, had conducted a two-hour interview with Marianne Gingrich, ex-wife of Newt Gingrich, that may not run until after the South Carolina primary. The decision, Drudge reported, sparked a "civil war" at the network.

ABC staffers were caught by surprise at the news, telling The Huffington Post that if there was a "civil war," they hadn't heard about it. That doesn't mean there wasn't any debate among ABC executives over when to air the interview, but simply that the war certainly wasn't raging through the newsroom.

It also looks like the interview will air before Saturday's South Carolina primary after all. One ABC insider said that the Gingrich interview, conducted with Brian Ross, will likely air on Thursday's "Nightline."

Marianne Gingrich, the former Speaker's second wife, of 18 years, hasn't been shy about her feelings toward her ex-husband's presidential ambitions, telling Esquire in 2010 that there's "no way."

"He could have been president," she said. "But when you try and change your history too much, and try and recolor it because you don't like the way it was or you want it to be different to prove something new ... you lose touch with who you really are. You lose your way."

"He believes that what he says in public and how he lives don't have to be connected," Gingrich added, in the Esquire interview. "If you believe that, then yeah, you can run for president."

In the Esquire interview, Marianne also dismisses the conversion to Catholicism during his current, and third, marriage. She said it "has no meaning."

It's unclear who leaked the story to Drudge -- perhaps an ABC staffer who didn't want the interview to possibly get held until next week or rival campaign operative hoping to get Gingrich's baggage front-and-center on the influential conservative aggregator. Whoever the source, they got the political tongues wagging just 72 hours before the primary.

Gingrich's two daughters from his first marriage pushed back Wednesday, writing in a letter to the network's leadership that "ABC News or other campaigns may want to talk about the past, just days before an important primary election Newt is going to talk to the people of South Carolina about the future."

Ron Paul moves UP in the Polls

UPDATE: Attorney Orly Taitz website is reporting that a Georgia Judge has issued a subpoena demanding Barack Obama appear in court January 26 AND produce his original long form birth certificate, passport records, collegeregistration records and more.

Dr. Orly Taitz, attorney for one of the plaintiffs in the Georgia eligibility cases working their way rapidly through the courts, posted a copy of what is reportedly a subpoena, issued by Judge Michael Malihi of Georgia.

The subpoena demands that Barack Obama himself appear in court on Thrusday, January 26, and bring with him a laundry list of official documents that will prove or disprove his eligibility for office.

The list is frankly a “birther’s” dream.

Unlike previous cases, where only certain documents were requested or discussed, this subpoena issued by Judge Malihi includes every document that serious eligibility experts have been discussing from the beginning. The list requires Obama to produce each of the following:
1.Any and all certified birth records including a long form birth certificate.
2.Certified school/university registration records. Certified immigration/naturalization records.
3.Certified passport records
4.Redacted certified Social Security card applications for each of the aliases and other legal names used by Barack Obama,
5.including but not limited to his legal surname
6.when adopted by step-father Lolo Soetoro

In addition, Judge Malihi has reportedly also subpoenaed Hawaii Health Department officials and commanded them to produce an original certified copy of Obama’s long form birth certificate.

Ron Paul moves UP in the Polls

Ron Paul Tied with Obama and in Two-Man Race with Romney

Poll highlights include Paul having notably strong support across many key voter segments

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul again polls strong against incumbent President Barack Obama in a general election matchup, according to today’s CNN/ORC Poll.

Highlights include Paul besting Obama 49 to 45 percent among persons 65 and older, a voter segment considered to be the most reliable for turnout. Paul also beats Obama among persons 50 to 64 by a 47 to 45 percent margin. Taken together, according to the poll, voters over 50 deliver Paul a clean 48 to 45 percent win over Obama.

When factoring geography and racial background, Paul also carries substantial numbers.

Versus Obama, Paul defeats him 51 to 45 percent in the Midwest, 49 to 45 percent in the South, 61 to 35 percent in rural areas, and ties him at 47 percent in suburban areas. Paul also bests all other Republican candidates among nonwhite voters when matched against Obama, again carrying a solid quarter of those votes, and defeating Obama among white voters 54 to 41 percent, and men 49 to 44 percent.

Among many segments, the numbers of other Republican hopefuls is paltry to Paul’s performance.

CNN’s Political Unit states, “…according to the poll, the president is doing better against two other presidential candidates. If Rick Santorum were the GOP nominee, Obama would hold a 51%-45% advantage over the former senator from Pennsylvania. And if Newt Gingrich faced off against the president, Obama would lead the former House speaker 52-43%.”

The hits keep coming.

Among men, Paul garners more support in the general by a larger margin over Obama than any other candidate. He undercuts Obama’s support among youth the most, winning 40 percent of the 18-34 vote, with Paul’s nearest competitor Romney coming no closer than 35 percent. Paul also garners more from those under 50 than any other Republican. Paul is also at the top – tying Romney – among persons ages 35 to 49.

Perhaps most important in the race for the White House, Paul seizes more support from independents than any other Republican, matching or defeating Obama 46 to 48 percent vis a vis the +/- 5 percent error margin.

Also notable in the survey is that 53 percent of the sample believe that Romney does not “generally agree” with them on issues they care about, and 56 percent feel that Romney is not in touch with the problems ordinary Americans face in their daily lives.

“This poll, as with all the other general election matchup polls, debunks the misconceptions about Ron Paul’s electability. His competitiveness against Obama is far beyond all but one competitor, Mitt Romney, again proving it is appropriate for all other candidates to drop out and unite behind Dr. Paul as the only viable conservative alternative to establishment Romney,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

“This is a clear two-man race and only two can beat Obama. It also begs the question, ‘Which candidate will Republicans choose, status quo Romney or the candidate of authentic change, Ron Paul?’” asked Mr. Benton.

ORC International surveyed 1,021 adult Americans from January 11th to the 12th. The error margin for this total sample is +/- 3.0 percentage points. The sample includes 928 registered voters, with the margin of error for this group also +/- 3.0 percentage points. Error margins for micro-targeting can range much higher.
