Dennis should have never been invited as a key speaker to such an event, as he is disliked by his Democratic party since he usually votes with the other side of the aisle. It was probably done just to raise a ruckus so they could dis him, as they did.
I do not believe Paul is anywhere near being 20 points behind Romney as you suggest.
As far as Cheney is concerned, there is no bringing back Bush. Bush was an idiot. Cheney was the man running the show the entire time. Have you not read "The Angler" series from the Washington Post? It was a Pulitzer Prize winning series. Read it when you get time, so much went on behind the scenes. Cheney was the real President. He wanted to be President, but could not, due to his heart condition. Bush was just a front man.
So say You... Do you have a video or article to back up what you have written here? Perhaps we could then get the whole picture as to what you seem to be confused about?
I don't believe Mr.Paul is trying to justify the 911 attack on the U.S. at all by what he states in the video.
I believe the point he was trying to make, it that we have no business being there STILL, and Yes, they don't like us being there, they don't want us there and they have asked us to LEAVE. Why are we still there??? Uninvited!
We have much concerns here in our own country that need serious attending to and the elected in Washington are not doing their jobs. We have no budget, for how long now??? We are trillions in debt with WHO holding the notes? And the American taxpayers are being Robbed way on into the future as more and more wars are begun with the approval of Congress even.
Get the Federal Government and all of it's slick spending, out of our State affairs!!! The People's representatives need to start listening to the people and quit thinking they know better than we do as they vote however they want to.
The system was not designed to work that way. Representatives are supposed to vote according to what their constituants want.
It's gone to far and people like me are Pissed about it.
Ron Paul wants to take America back to it's roots, get us out of debt and get rid of the cronies. As I have stated before, the President does not design the Foreign Policy, it is pre-decided for him by the CFR's think tank and handed to him. THEREFORE, Foreign Policy should not be a reason not to cast your vote for Ron Paul.
You have much knowledge of politics tom and I enjoy reading your words of wisdom. I just think in this case, you are wrong in your interpretation of what he was saying.
They should have done it! Could you just imagine the love that would flow if everyone sang it at football games and in schools? It would be awesome! They should try to do it again!
Thank you ssh. So, I have romantic imaginations? Why not, perhaps they will come to pass?
I believe in the simple things. When surrounded by nature, romance is in the air, even if alone. It just does something in me! I love all that is created. Forget the skyscrapers, fancy cars and restaurants, give me serenity in the woods and I would be happy for all of my days.
I would live off the land and Agape would provide all that was needed. Dreams can come true. They are birthed in the heart and we receive the desires of our hearts. We only need to believe, call it forth and wait...
The trouble with my uncle, Rick Santorum By John Garver Published: 2:00 PM 01/03/2012 | Updated: 10:39 AM 01/04/2012
If you want another big-government politician who supports the status quo to run our country, you should vote for my uncle, Rick Santorum. America is based on a strong belief in individual liberty. My uncle’s interventionist policies, both domestic and foreign, stem from his irrational fear of freedom not working.
It is not the government’s job to dictate to individuals how they must live. The Constitution was designed to protect individual liberty. My Uncle Rick cannot fathom a society in which people cooperate and work with each other freely. When Republicans were spending so much money under President Bush, my uncle was right there along with them as a senator. The reason we have so much debt is not only because of Democrats, but also because of big-spending Republicans like my Uncle Rick.
It is because of this inability of status quo politicians to recognize the importance of our individual liberties that I have been drawn to Ron Paul. Unlike my uncle, he does not believe that the American people are incapable of forming decisions. He believes that an individual is more powerful than any group (a notion our founding fathers also believed in).
Another important reason I support Ron Paul is his position on foreign policy. He is the only candidate willing to bring our troops home, not only from the Middle East, but from around the world.
Ron Paul seems to be the only candidate trying to win the election for a reason other than simply winning the election.
This year, I’ll vote for an honest change in our government. I’ll vote for real hope. I’ll vote for a real leader. This year, I will vote for Ron Paul.
John Garver is a 19-year-old student at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. John is a strong supporter of Ron Paul despite his love for family member Rick Santorum.
Ron Paul has stated that he will NOT take his retirement pay for serving in the Congress.
He also stated that he has Never took any medicaid or government assisted payment from any patient while in his practice as an OBGYN doctor. He has delivered over 4,000 babies!
First of all, I would not have made love to him, having just met. Perhaps if in conversation he mentioned that he lived in a cabin in the woods, I would really like it if he asked me to come for a visit.
He could walk me through the trails in the woods, point out to me all of the wildlife and critters who were his friends and perhaps invite me inside for some squirrel stew, drink a little wine and relax by the fire that he would build outdoors.
We would sit by the fire and I would listen as he told stories of his life in the woods at the cabin.
It would be getting dark as we sat by the fire. He places a blanket around my shoulders and asks me to come... He leads me to a small canoe at the edge of a lake. We glide across the water as he paddles. As I gaze at him in the moonlit night, I think, 'how blessed am I to have met this wonderful man who chose to share this part of his life with me'.
And wonder... Can I stay?
This was very thought provoking. Obviously I did not answer the poll, but a girl can dream, can't she?
