One day he sent me an email, and he has been allowing me to get to know him with out talking religion. Now if everyone could see this side of him, it would be a awesome.

We don't post as much, and well... barely read stuff on there. Seems to be the same stuff over and over.

Some might find out posts boring, but we sure have some great stuff. Hollangirl helps to keep our forum alive. She is so positive. Maybe that guy just needed to see if he could cause her some unhappiness because he is that way himself.

My profile had been on here a while before I responded to anything. I feel for the most part, our posts are not as phonie.

Brew and I were good for a laugh. It was not done to be selfish and take over the forums.

As for the tastelessness and insensitivity shown to the family of the young man that was slain... it's very sad and discouraging.

Our group might not be as big, but for the most part, we seem to be a good support system for anyone that needs it. The support seems to be more sincere.

Have met people that has successful marriages, and some been living together 25 yrs or more. It's not the license that makes it work, it's the 2 people involved.

I have not thought about getting married again. I'd have to start dating... and well, if someone ever finds me good enough to date...what will happen...will happen.

Go my dear lady, because if you do not, you will regret it and so will your daughter. It is a day meant for a mother to let her daughter pass to another phase of being a woman. Many would say it's between the groom and the bride, but so many have said they have wonderful memories of time spent with Mom. Nerves get frayed but Mom is the one she needs to be there.

My aunt went to her daughter's wedding. The ex was there also. My aunt was there for the most important parts, went to the side and stayed out of site until she was asked to see her daughter leave on the honey moon.

You will be fine. If the step mother starts, ignore her. Do not respond to what she says. Smile and do your best to enjoy. This might knock out some of the wind in your step mother's sails. People like that get their thrills knowing they have gotten to you, and make you feel small. Show her what you are made of.

If you do not go to the wedding, you will regret it. Your daughter is more important than your step mother.

Hey, you never know, some people have met their better half at a wedding :-)

Go to enjoy yourself. Stay way from the old bag.

We hope with all our hearts we have found someone and then we find out it's not so.

You have a right to feel sad. It's normal. It would be nice to have someone that cares for you in a special way.

Your time will come. Summer is not the best time to meet people on line, later in the fall and winter the site gets busy.

You have a wonderful heart, and it has so much love to give. I hope you will find the one who will respect and appreciate you.

Give yourself time to heal and morn what you thought might have been. You will bounce back. Use your power of prayer dear lady. You know someone will hear you. :-)

Please do not hide away and leave. You have some some wonderful friends on here, and have touched them with your caring nature. I hope we can do the same for you.

You will have to change other things. Like doing the activities where you sat and smoked. Example... sitting down with a coffee if this is when you smoke the most... you might have to change something so you won't automatically want the smoke. (to be honest... the plastic stir sticks with holes in them.... help... you can have the coffee, but use the stir stick or a straw in place of the cigarette.... it sounds stupid but does help.)

Some benefit programs also will spring for the cost of the patch.


Only way to be successful with quitting is that you are mentally ready to do so. If you are not really ready... it might not work.

One of the boss's at work was a 2 pack a day smoker, he read this book, and when he finished this book on smoking, he did not smoke anymore and had no cravings.


Sorry I do not know what the name of the book is.

I was giving you a break..... these are things I learned from getting my pc and ergonomic key board and mouse to work. You know that overly large funny shaped keyboard? You can not just plug it in, you have to install using the cd that comes with it... grrrr

Hope you did not think I was thinking you were .... unknowledgable.... I was just making a suggestion.

May VISTA burn in hell...... and the twits who decided that is the only program we can use...... The so called experts did not think about business's that need to run word, works and do excel spread sheets. It's not very compatible... so much for being experts.........

Funny how stupid experts get rich and smart hard working people are not as rich money wise.
