You would, but they are very placid and quite lazy couch potatoes. That is until you take them out for their daily walk and unleash them, the they go insane....
Looks interesting, considered to be one of Roman Polanski's best movies. It's taken from the book of the same about Wladyslaw Szpilman in which he describes his life in Warsaw in occupied Poland during World War II.
I watched Schindlers List last night, very difficult to watch and almost impossible to take in, much like Viktor E Frankl's book Mans Search For Meaning.
In the uk most housing associations and councils will not allow dogs in common entrance apartments, which I can understand. Not sure what the difference leaving a dog alone in an apartment or a house is though. I dont think people should have a dog if they're out working most days anyway, The RSPCA recommends not to leave a dog alone for mor than four hours..
It probably originated in the states from the song Yanky Doodle Dandy. The British soldiers sang it at the end of the 18th century to mock the US soldiers, but by the end of the 19th century the US had taken it on as as patrotic anthem. I'm not sure about women using it though.
It's all good, being fed, nice and warm and there's quite a good energy in here. The staff are wonderful. Last night and today there's only two of us on the ward, we're getting well looked after.
I dont mind, it' quite a nice ward, only four beds and everyone is really friendly. The surgery should be tomorrow, it's something to do with a shortage of beds in the intensive care unit where I will spend two days afyer the op.
