RE: Interested...?

It's very rare to see a Buddhist eat meat, most centres I've been to don't allow meat on the premises although my local Kagyu Ling centre sometimes has a meat option for the meals.
The Buddha was very clear about this, he said, only eat meat if it's already been killed, don't kill it yourself or asked someone else to kill it for you.

RE: Interested...?

No, not if it's not specifically ordered, but already available.

RE: Interested...?

Surprisingly, eating meat, so long as you dont kill it yourself, or is specifically killed for you, is ok in Buddhism.

RE: In the Winter, my home’s thermostat is always set at and reads 77 F/ 25 C and I’m still freezing !

-6c outside, probably about 8c inside until I put the heating on in the evening, then like I said, aoround 16c indoors by 9pm.
Those have been the typical temps for the last couple of weeks, up to 15c outside tomorrow.

-6c here but dont put the heating on till 6pm. Usually gets to about 16c by 9pm.

RE: World Cup 2022.

Great final once France woke up and began playing like defending champions.

But why was Messi wearing a mosquito net after the match?

RE: Who's wants to give their phone number?

In my experience, yoga classes are usually around one third male, meditation classes or groups around fifty-fifty.
The kind of dance I attend is usually around 60- 40 female-male.

RE: A question to men without picture

That tells me quite a lot about you.

RE: Paradise

Indeed, the population of China alone is probably more the the entire population of the southern hemisphere....uh oh

RE: Paradise

Not necessarily. Could any one of many sub tropical beaches in the northern hemisphere.

RE: Paradise

The Caribbean side of Panama is very different from the Pacific side, the pic reminds me more of the Pacific coast. But of course it could be almost any tropical/sub tropicatl coastline.

RE: Paradise

Probably not, looks like a Frigatebird in the pic, not coomon on the Gaza Strip.

RE: Paradise

Looks like the beach I stayed on in Panama for 5 days.

RE: War Pigs

It was very special. We were just passing through Torquay in Devon when we noticed they were playing at the Town Hall that night. What sticks in my mind most was how they did the whole album perfectly note for note. I really did do some dancing that night.

RE: War Pigs

I saw them playing the full album live in Devon 1970. One of the best gigs I've been to....thumbs up
