That's a lot of dollars. Just to put it into perspective, if you were to count a trillion dollars and mark each one taking one dollar per second, it would take you just over 31,688 years to count them....
I guess being such a long way from the ocean give you such extremes. The furthest town from the sea in the uk is just 84 miles from the coast. Thats why we get such temperate weather.
I said a few days ago that I didn't think there were any trolls on the forums these days. That is, the kind of person who posts threads for the sole purpose of creating trouble.
That may be true, but these forums are divided into different categories. You couldnt say the jokes and humour section for instance is a place for discussion and debate. This thread for is in the 'advice' section although I'm not sure if the OP is giving advice or asking for it. Maybe it should be in the jokes and humour category.....
Some songs can instantly take you back to a certain moment in your life. Cathy' Clown does that for me, every time I hear it I'm transported back to a fairground in 1960 where it was blasting out on one of the rides, it blew me away.
That reminds me of a quote from a book I once read, Three Cups of Tea....

I actually did get stopped by the Taliban, (they were known as the Mujahideen at the time) not exactly on the street but on a high mountain pass. They didn't ask my name, one of them just took my backpack and asked what was in it. I told him it was just clothes and food, he nodded and then used it as a rest for his gun to shoot small rocks that one of them had set up for target practice. It wasn't long before I realised they were just putting a show on for us, but at the same time letting us know, they were in charge in that part of the country. They were quite good fun really despite looking pretty scary....
It was an article that I thought was very well written, incisive, and made some very good points about how the mainstream is in almost total control. I must admit I had to read it a couple of times to fully take it in.
Maybe I should apologize for posting a thread that requires more than twenty seconds to read. But don't let it bother you, just move on to another 'simpler' thread.
