Most of the time it's the approach you took. Now you know that what you did not work for those 5 women you randomly picked. That's good data indicating you need some changes.
That's for sure the photo and the real person maybe different but not that far different if no lie was involved. To avoid the big difference I tend to ask how long ago the photo on profile was taken.
