RE: Middle East Nations other than Egypt

Thanks, I agree and I hope these guys can do it without a lot of bloodshed and no outside interference. Might even result in better dialogue between Iran and other countries.

RE: Obama is going ot win the presidency in 2012!

I've never really cared for surprises. My ex once had a surprise birthday party for me - only once...laugh laugh

RE: Zionist Occupied America

I certainly prefer a democracy (or similance of democracy) and I hope that Egypt and other countries don't fall into these dictatorships however, I stop short of interfering with their choices. I think they should be able to choose without our interference. The same holds true when they realize they're in a mess, they should get themselves out of it. Too mnay times have we gone in with both good and bad intentions to end up being seen as the bad guy. As I see it, we lose either way, we may as well lose, save money and at the same time, refocus those resources to our own people.

That seems crass I know, but I am just sick of trying to help those who either don't want it or don't apreciate it.

RE: Zionist Occupied America

Hey Conrad, I don't think they really care about the democracy side of this, its religeon though that will certainly eliminate the need for a democracy by replacing it with a dictatorship or Sharia Law

RE: Zionist Occupied America

Of course there is no proof one way or another. These are the Middle East's Hatfields and McCoys. I don't believe they really need a sound reason, anything will do.

Let the blood flow.... dunno

RE: Obama is going ot win the presidency in 2012!

Maybe we should work together instead of this constant pissing contest. The system needs work and only by compromise will it ever get fixed. The majority of Dems or Reps is always temporary as the pendulem continues to swing from side to side. The Dems forced this through while they had a majority and the Reps will kill it while they have a majority so nothing gets done. We could do this if we could remove the extreemists (far left/right) from both sides.

RE: Obama is going ot win the presidency in 2012!

Excellent question, When one considers that the text of this bill wasn't available to the public for a thorough review until after it was voted on and approved, I can almost understand why some have not. Besides, the thing is very large which almost excuses many of those in congress that couldn't be bothered to read it either.

And whatever happened to transparancy in government? Wasn't this administration going to be transparant? And wasn't it Nancy Pelosi who said "But we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy"?
Do they really think we're children who need to be told what's best for us? Honestly, there are some idiots in the US and other countries throughout the world but most people are quite capable of making sound decisions for themselves or capable of living with the ramifications and learning from poor decisions.

I'm just glad that this will more than likely go away when the courts rule this as unconstitutional since the government has zero rights to force a citizen to purchase anything. Failing that, congress can simply not provide funding. Since we're broke, that shouldn't be too far a reach.

RE: Middle East Nations other than Egypt

Isn't that the same country that was supportive of the protests in Egypt? laugh My goodness how things change over night.

RE: Middle East Nations other than Egypt

Holy crap! pun intended laugh

RE: Middle East Nations other than Egypt

Rants are OK. It's acyaully nice to see the other side of this. Besides, the other side(s) rant all the time.

RE: Middle East Nations other than Egypt

That was rather funny when the procession ran away when the dead guy/gal stood up.. I don't think it was a trail of tears they left behind... laugh

RE: Middle East Nations other than Egypt

Holy Cow! It's never ending. Unfortunately, this stuff really doesn't get out does it?

RE: Middle East Nations other than Egypt

Hey Conradwave Somethings never change huh..laugh

RE: Al Gore was right after all.

I don't think too many people are debating the fact that climate change is happening. It's happened since this place was created. It's happened since before mankind existed so I have to think that our contributions to tainting the environment are minimal at best. That's not to say we shouldn't take care of our environment because we should. However, the whole global warming theory/concept stinks of political and personal agendas. This seems like nothing more than a move to strike fear in the masses just as the global cooling theory did in the 70s. More would know about that had this internet device been available during that time. In the mean time, there will be those that buy this and those that don't. I for one do not.

RE: Middle East Nations other than Egypt

No arguement here. The videos I watched were pretty clear on that fact. Now comes the part where some will say the Israelis doctored these to their adantagelaugh

This situation really is sad. But you have to admit the Pallywood funeral procession where they dropped the corpse, which then got back on the gurney under his/her own power (twice) was pretty funny. Smile, you're on candid camera.. laugh

RE: Middle East Nations other than Egypt

Thanks... Interesting theater. The war of video propaganda.

RE: Obama is going ot win the presidency in 2012!

Excellent point on the legality of the health care bill/law.

Unfortunately, the problem we've been having in this country is the people are more inclined to buy that luxury 60" HD TV, car or go out and party with their money before they onsider buying that pesky health care insurance. Certainly there are some that cannot afford health care coverage and I believe we should help those. There are also some things we can do to reduce costs but having said that, I lose no sleep over the lack of health care coverage for those who fail to understand that basic necessities come well before life's luxuries. The government is not and should never be the big fat teet for people to suckle from because they make poor decisions.

RE: gitmo and torture

You make some great points! America bashing has become the norm and I thought Obama would change all thatlaugh

RE: Obama wants american economy to recover, and Republicans are working activly against this!

Do you have those in Denmark Dude?

RE: States turn down federal money for jobless benefits

I think you're right that we'll be thanking those 9 states but I fear the Fed will simply find another way to spend that money.

Seems to me it would be the government's job to create an environment where jobs can be created, not create an environment where they're taxing an already over taxed public with ineffective stimulus.

Also, there used to be a time when families helped one another during the lean times. When did Uncle Sam take the place of the extended family? dunno

RE: is syria next?

Perhaps another World War's on the near horizon.

If this weren't so serious it would be almost funny.

RE: Is America a sefe place to live?

Having spent over 2 years in Baku I can say that they're about the same. Both have their good and bad points. I must say I saw a lot of positive changes in Baku and Azerbaijan in general during my time there. cheers
