You're a piece of work aren't you? Fortunately for me, I have faith in my own ability to reason and not be taken in by conspiracy theory. If that's for you and others, so be it.
You didn't have to mention Mr. Jones. This crap i straight from his playbook. It it wasn't from him, it was from Prison Planet or some other conspiracy rag.
Besides, I did address some of your questions and got no response. other than "two Words - Molten Steel" Seriously, what kind of a f'd up reply is that? I'll tell you what it is, it is in fact a regurgitation of Alex Jones hyperbol.
No worries, this is a volatile subject. OBL threatened, attacked and taunted America for years. He admitted everything in is tapes sent out with the intent of scaring the public. A trial in his case would have been a pointless circus in some people's minds, mine included.
Not that I would advocate revenge killing, I wouldn't. It just seems to me that there are too many operating without facts that are too ready to condemn America or those who conducted this raid as murderers. Some seem ready to paint OBL as a victim of an assination squad vice a capture/kill unit. This pretty much points to calling those folks who conducted the raid and the majority of the Americans that support the raid blood thirsty and vengeful. I honestly don't think this is the case and given the history of OBL, I would always give the benefit of any doubt to those who conducted the raid.
Having said all that. I for one and happy with the outcome. Not because we killed OBL but because we got in and out without losing another American to that animal's whims.
Who really knows what happened during that raid? Given a choice, I don't think OBL would have simply allowed himself to be subjected to a trial by the US or any other authority. Besides, when we were on that foreign soil the owners knew we were there and what we were doing. I hardly think that equates to the US thinking the world is our property.
There are a lot of possibilities no doubt. I do think it's safe to say that Bin Landen's dead and though I don't care for President Obama's political stances, I don't think he's going to announce something like this without it being true lest Osama pop up on a video with a newspaper in hand dated today.
I suspect that if you put a bunch of GIs on a mission like this, things are going to be intense. And given that alone, I would suspect they would not have hesitated to pop a cap in Osama's crown given the slightest provocation. We'll probably never really know for sure. Was the action legal? I'm sure opinions differ but it was the right thing to do and I'm glad he's dead rather than being held in captivity somewhere.
Even so, this hasn't changed much with the exception of giving some of those 9/11 victim's families some closure. We'll still be here in Afghanistan and the ME for quite some time.
There's some truth in what you say. They (people like AJ, Bill OReiley, etc) do expose some truths but unfortunately, some of their followers are fanatical and believe every word they say. Everything simply isn't a conspiracy.
No doubt, FOX certainly has it's share of short falls but the same people who knock it for its bias in favor of conservatism are blind to the Liberal Bias of the majority of the other networks.
That's OK though because it's their mouthpeace to the world and God forbid they ever own up to such things.
I can't say for sure but I would imagine that they're more concerned about drug smuggling than anything else. Just a guess but profiling based on travel habits, destinations, etc.. is happening.
