RE: solutions for handling the migration crisis

lindsy, I was wondering why Germany through its foreign representatives in Amman, Damascus, Beirut or Ankara could not provide visa for those asylum-seeker instead of inviting them or welcoming them in without any preparation nor organization to accommodate them once they came in here. Some has criticized Merkel this point, one was even saying that you (Merkel) cannot promise other with a promise you (she) cannot even keep or realize.

There was even issue spread either in Lebanon or in Jordan, that Germany would provide boots for those who wanted to come to Germany. In reality, the boots probably provided by the human traffickers and they got million profits from this business. Scary, isn't it?

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Perhaps UNO officials and she and her co. should make a trip to Syria to see the real condition of the country and to talk with the people there about the war in Syria. Wasn't she the one who claimed that she could afford paying someone else hotel in Syria? Why not herself then visiting Syria instead? If she can't afford the ticket, she can ask the guy in Spain for providing it for her giggle

This is laughable, she's from M has never experienced living as minority in a country where muslim is majority but bragging like she could be the ambassador of the world for a better and peaceful world doh

Anyway, Babette, I re-post again 350 families have traveled back to Syria on their own initiative to rebuild their country.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Well, she will not ever got that point because she is a person well-described by a Syrian refugee as:

"Let’s not delude ourselves. It’s not that easy, and you also shouldn’t act so lightly and let in all kinds of refugees without control. The people that go on television and like brainless models that won Miss World, blink sweetly and claim that they want to save the world and bring peace – these are people with political ambitions. They want to take advantage and gather moral points in the face of society, on which they will later build their lousy carrier."

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Among those who are running away and hidding is this 14 year-old child bride with her husband of 24 y.o.

"The Netherlands' authority has been searching for Fatema Alkasem, 14 y.o. and 8-9 mo. pregnant. She was last seen on 31. August 2015 wearing hijab and long-pink jacket. She is around 1,65 m with dark hair and blue eyes. If anyone knows her, please contact 0031-800-6070". The authority is looking for her due to her health condition.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

I thought Syrians are well prepared for snow and cold, aren't they having winter as well back home?

Anyway, this is not the first time I heard of refugees complaining how cold Europe is laugh

When they were in Norway, they complained the same thing and they wanted to go back to Sweden. What will be their reactions if they heard of Iceland welcoming them to stay there? doh

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

I think I have missed the news or that kind of news do not exist here.

Anyway, I hope this 140,000 would keep staying 140,000 or more. I am afraid that some of the 140,000 have hidden themselves to avoid being sent back home sigh

Just this morning I read a data coming from state Sachsen (Dresden is its capital) only per 30. September 2015:

- 4,054 to be sent home without delay and without excuse to be allowed staying longer in the country,
- 2,255 to be sent home but they cannot be sent back now for excuses like illness, injured, etc.
- 24,787 to be sent home but they are now hidding to avoid being sent back home.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

I personally have heard of it after reading this

You can't find such news in mainstream media here.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

No problem, Capri, I did even agree with him. There were already some criticizing Merkel for her refugee policy. She was even criticized by member of her party because she let massive people coming in without any preparations, without proper management and without organizations thus we can all see the chaos in the regions she had brought currently moping

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Hi EQ, I don't have any details. Sorry. Politicians here are not talking about this, it's not their fave subject. "Willkommenskultur" is recommended than "Verabschiedungskultur" giggle

The sending back process actually already started for refugees who came earlier and who have stayed years in the country. The government uses the aircraft from air forces to send the refugees whose application are rejected by the country. However, until now there have been 8,000 people were sent back home and most of them coming from Balkan countries like Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia, Serbia.

People think this is not yet enough considering that 800,000 people are coming and are waiting for their application status which could take months in Germany. So I assume it may take another months or another year to send them, who just came lately for the past 2-3 months, back to their home country.

There are also some cases that they whose application are rejected do not want to be sent back home by bringing their cases to the court, or by proving that they are sick and still need medication process to stay longer in Germany or by providing any other excuses they could do to avoid getting sent home, and few have tried to hurt themselves in order to get them staying longer here.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Capri, I personally wish she will do that which I doubt if she's having the courage to do so. So far she's still saying that "magic" word, "We can make it!"

On your second point, a TV reporter has interviewed Merkel's Vice, Gabi (S.Gabriel) and asked him if such action is needed to be done by Germany and he was playing dumb by asking, "What to do then? Shooting them on the spot?" Argh. frustrated It's not worth voting for SPD. I can't imagine him being the next Chancellor. Our defense minister is also useless, von der Leyen was under investigation that she cheated on her doctoral degree doh

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

She will be in front line welcoming them and shaking their hands, but will be somewhere invisible when fights between refugees broke out.

Oh, that happened here already laugh blushing frustrated

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Thank you EQ for your updates thumbs up

Germany someday has to thank Hungary for keeping the border tight.

It was a shame to know that our Interior Minister, Thomas de Maiziere, was telling Slovakia to build mosques to accommodate the (muslim) refugees. Maybe somehow he's having a collaboration with Saudi Arabia blushing frustrated

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

This isn't good news. I wish it doesn't happen in Germany even some people are angry already towards politicians and their policy, but it's not fair that migrants who have legal papers and have been integrated well in the country that have to be the first victims of this attack sad flower

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

She's holding grudges from her other thread and was so hurt so bad that she chased and terrorized us here to do what she thinks is a moral responsibility to help people in need, although these people in need may be having potientials to be criminals in disguise.

Anyway, I post again here an interview with a Syrian living in Bulgary and what he said about his understanding of EU citizen's fear from this massive refugee crisis:

"Fears are completely understandable. Let’s not delude ourselves.

The parts that I highlighted described well what this lady from M and another lady named M have been doing with this situation.

Did you see the way she was playing god and was talking in the name of god? Incredible to see what a false pride could transform someone into. Anyway, speaking of god, a priest in Ravensburg was criticized after giving a preach on his church about his personal views and critics of refugee policy.

RE: solutions for handling the migration crisis

If we are talking about changes, what changes are those people actually talking and proposing?

I see the culture and tradition in Germany are OK, they don't need a change. Should we change our festivals just to respect a community who are offended by our habits? Should we take off cross from hospitals for not offending muslims? Should we change Red Cross because it has "Cross" letters on its word? LEMIA.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Bonsoir Babette,

I will try my best. Let the lost bird tweets and tweets alone until she can't no more wink

J'ai sommeil. Alors, je m'en vais.

Bonne nuit wine

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

She would not take any, because she only wants to brag and feels good about it here. She does not even learn history and she did not know that Germany did not even send any troops in 2003 to Iraq, so it proves she made a false claim. Luckily for her, Merkel was being too naive and it has saved her ego and her face laugh

RE: solutions for handling the migration crisis

That's actually the root of the problems of why integration never really work well on the West. But if we are discussing about this again, there will be one who will mess up again and push their non-sense ideas.

I have to agree to someone saying, "Islam speaks about democracy and pluralism when the muslims are minority, but when they are majority islam is valid exclusively." This is to correct the quote I have written on your blog and this word was said by an ex-Muslim living in Germany for more than 20 years, I think he is now an atheist.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

I don't know. I think they will question where Mexico is and when you show them the map of Mexico, neighbouring the US, then they would agree thinking they would plan another exodus to enter the US if the new life in Mexico is not met with their expectations.

RE: solutions for handling the migration crisis

To screen very tight who are really Syrian refugees amongst those hundred thousand people. Give priority to non-muslims because they are most likely could integrate well in Europe and there were already some plea from non-muslim Syrians that they were tortured in Syria by you-know-who, wouldn't it be very funny to place them together (again) with those one who tortured them?

To be really honest to you, just recently a survey showed that two-third people in Germany think islam does not belong to Germany and the other way around. Islam teachings and lifestyle do not fit to Germany. People said so because they are simply sick and tired of seeing this refugee crisis, who most of them coming from countries where muslim is majority, turning bad with no win-win solution for any party.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

We can accept the 3 and send all of the rest to Mexico!

Problem solved laugh

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Meanwhile in Uruguay, in a town Juan Lacaze where a Syrian family of a father, mother and 15 kids since more or less a year ago - the people there starting to get angry at the family because they were complaining of their unsatisfying life saying they did not get any help from the government and from the people around. The family got a housing and a field plus seed to plant but it was not enough for them. They were asking for more in order to make their life better.

More of it here

Her beer "works" faster than I thought giggle

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Did you read the news about the refugees burning a camp yesterday because they were frustated for not being let go to Austria? Scary.

Merkel has never put a limit of them and I bet she will push other countries again to accept them at EU meetings this weekend.

This news is a week old and I was speechless reading it

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Hi riaz,

All that glitters is not gold, correct me if I am wrong. It might be looked that way that Germany has a very strong economy, but I can say it is NOT. Financial crisis hit here in 2008 and since then it was not really getting better as it seemed.

I am not sure if you are having intention to work and to stay in Germany, if you do, however I may suggest you to come legally and not taking a shortcut like trying to sneak in as a "Syrian" amongst the massive refugees. I knew some Indians work and stay here in IT department of a household appliances at nearby town, some Chinese are also here working in a big car manufacturer and many other expats that live here all have been in this country passing the border with legal papers.

Again, Germany is not paradise that it has been described to refugee wannabe. No housing, no citizenship, no cars provided.

I read your other comment about SA, well, you are not alone having that similar opinion. Somehow it remains a mystery to me why they don't show any sympathy nor offer temporary camps for Syrian refugees.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

To mexican naive lady who thinks she's an expert in managing taking care of refugees crisis in Europe troll

Tsingtao, Chinese beer, is good for your brain digestion cheers

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Thanks for the link, Capri.

A mayor of Tübingen, Boris Palmer, has said so, "I am sorry, we cannot achieve it". Finally there is another normal person who can see that the numbers of refugees that come to his town alone is too many than its town can accept and accommodate. He put his political career in a risk to come publicly with such statement.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

I am sorry to hear what has been happening in the border of your country, Capri.

I took some part of the news:

Many migrants from the Middle East, Asia and Africa expressed bewilderment and disappointment because they had been told as they began their journeys in Turkey that the hard part would end once they reached EU countries like Croatia and Slovenia. Many had expected other countries to permit them free passage to wealthier western countries, particularly Germany, that they hope to make home.

"I am sorry for Europe," said Ari Omar, an Iraqi, who was resting in a Slovenian pasture a few hundred meters (yards) from the border with Croatia. "We did not think Europe is like this: no respect for refugees, not treating us with dignity. Why is Europe like this?"

Who told them so? dunno It looks like they were upset "customers" of human traffickers.

Welcome to reality, Ari Omar. You have sold your dignity to the devil and you are now claiming to have the right being treated with dignity? You are not respecting other nations' border by breaking in ilegally and you are asking for a respect towards you? Well, devil does that.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Honestly, in a Pegida demonstration, Merkel was "reserved" a guillotine and one also reserved for her vice. This group is now being investigation to be banned because these two (and other local medias) got offended. They said this group promoting hate of migrants which is not true.

The truth is this group are people who are angry at Merkel and co towards their massive refugees policy for weeks, even for months.

Migrants with formal papers and visitors are welcomed.

RE: GERMANY,,, WHERE ARE WE NOW ?

Babette, the woman I mentioned before was not addressed to you.

The news was saying that 7 out of 10 people of refugees who are in official job training since September 2013, normally lasts for 3 years, cannot continue their training until the end of the program because the lack of language comprehension and they are upset of getting paid for a certain of amount only, less than what they expected to be sent back home.

This is to counter someone's statement bragging about most of refugees are highly-skilled and highly-trained which unfortunately in reality is far from the thruth.
