I can't imagine with you being a Dunning-Kruger kind of guy you would ever think you could be insulted. Back handed Insulting is more your style though.
It is not I that is for such things, but people like you. I see you as one of the first to jump on the band wagon to do so when the opportunity presents itself.
I think some of us might be confusing a soul with a conscience. I believe all humans are born with a soul, I'm not so sure about the conscience though. I see a conscience as that inner voice that tells us when we are doing something wrong. Some people don't seem to have that inner voice, or they are just made up their mind to ignore it. I also believe that those who are liberals to the core are that way because of varying degrees of mental illness. But I don't believe most should be put in mental hospitals. Instead they need to be re-educated, or to put it bluntly deprogrammed. Most have never been taught to use deductive reasoning. The liberal mind has weak a point that is easily exploited by those that want to create useful idiots. They have been brainwashed by the academics who have been put in place by other useful idiots who have gained power while those who should have been watching out for us were sleeping on the job. Changing the education system is first and foremost the best weapon we have against liberalism.

I don't want to steal Mike's thunder, but I want to give my perspective on the scenario you give. First off, I agree that we are grossly over taxed, especially the middle class & up. But you're scenario lacks some missing detail. So I will fill in some blanks. Taxes alone would not put someone in a financial bind such as you site. It takes poorly managing one's money to do that. Some people try to live beyond their means and no amount of lower taxes will change that type of mentality. As things are right now hard work still pays off. Now how long that last will depend on how soon the demoncrat/communist/anarchist/satan worshipers get a complete hold of the US government. Because once they do, all opportunity to make a decent living will evaporate.
I like both and would have both if it wasn't for the large amount of ticks where I live. I choose to only have a cat since I can keep it inside all the time and reduce the chance of bringing ticks into the house. With dogs you have to take them outside to do their business. I have 2 friends here who both had gotten tick borne illnesses. One got Lyme disease two weeks ago and the other a disease (the name escapes me) that did damage to his nerves and some other parts of his body which forced him to retire early, and he now lives with constant pain.
And that's one of the things that make President Donald John Trump such a great President. He doesn't act, speak, lie or rob the American people blind like a politician. He actually cares for America and it's people and it pisses the leftist demoncrats and anarchist off.
I wouldn't goes so far as to call that a "misandrist rant". She certainly has some valid points. But I think what she misses is the value her and her friends have in the eyes of most men. I just don't think most of us are looking for a woman that is so career driven, not to mention if you don't make more money then the woman then you will get no respect as a male anyway. I think the way at least some of men are acting has to do with the fact that they just don't find women like her all that appealing as a long term prospect.
I'm not exactly sure what your beef is with ebay. Granted it's not perfect, but I buy between $500-$1000 a year in appliance parts alone. I'm very rarely disappointed with a purchase, and when I am it usually gets resolved to my satisfaction. Just about everything I buy is cheaper there then anywhere else. I also really like the fact that I can buy so many items without spreading my financial information all over the net.
