I see between 10 and 15 people a day, some I know but most I don't, and anytime the subject of the virus comes up, and it comes up a lot, I tell them exactly what I believe and why. You see I practice what I preach. I'm not going to close down my business because the government claims there's a pandemic ravaging the world when the evidence doesn't support it. Sure there's a virus going around and for a very small minority of people it's dangerous, but for the vast majority it's not. I do take precautions and wash my hands often, especially after handling money. I do that not because I fear dying from the virus, but because I don't want to go through the discomfort of being sick, and if I did get sick I would stay home. Which is exactly the same thing I do if I get the flue.
I'm surprised at how easily some people are willing to believe everything they're being told by press and the so-called experts about covid19. When with a little investigating it's easy enough to see that all is not what it seems. I'm also surprised at how easily people adopt a nanny state mentality and are so willing to give up their freedoms.
We should all be exempt from lock down laws. In the U.S. it's not the governments job to protect us from a pandemic by forcing us to stay at home. It's the governments job to keep them from entering our country in the first place. In the event a pandemic does get in, then educating the population on proper procedures is the next step. Beyond that it's the populations job to keep it from spreading by using common sense and proper procedures.
Part of it is we are living more and more in a selfish culture with a me first attitude. And a blame the other person for your problems. Along with a cut & run at the first sign of trouble mentality. People aren't being taught or are just forgetting that life and relationships suck at times and it's usually temporary. But with time and effort most if not all problems can be overcome.
I like Candice Owen as she is now, and she would probably make a fine VP. But in 2032 she's going to be in menopausal age range, and I would not trust any menopausal women no mater how conservative she may have been in the past.
Most people don't realize that if all the polar sea ice melted it would make no difference in the sea levels. Only ice on a landmass that melts would make any difference. As to salinity levels that all depends on how much of the ice is from fresh water.
I never denied you would find a post of mine as there are many of them out there. I did say I didn't know what you're on about and my quote didn't change that.
I suppose all you ignorant people who knock capitalism would rather have a Socialist or Communist economy? One only need look at how well Socialism is working for Venezuela. A Capitalistic economy is not perfect but it's the best game in town. All highly successful economies are based on it. Even communist China uses some capitalist aspects in there economy. But most of their success is derived from stealing the designs of US products and then selling them around the world including back to the US. Capitalism give those who work hard the best chance at success then all other forms of financial or economic isms. Unfortunately Capitalism in the US has been perverted into something that more & more resembles Socialism.
New International Version 1 Corinthians 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
You're right. Sometimes I forget that liberals have a hard time distinguishing right from wrong. I promise to try and be more sympathetic to their disabilities.
RE: Which movie do you like best?
The Outlaw Josie Wales was a great one. I can't say it's my favorite though because I have many favorites, but it's certainly on my top ten list.
